Jennings, he had the warbird specialist on our field bring it in and check it out for him. He's been flying the wings off it since :D I think your mate might have that back to front. Running costs for the 28 are fairly comparable to the T6 (especially the smaller engined A's), but the Trojan will outperform the mustang pretty much across the board. And don't even get me started on prices of overhauling Merlins!! ;) Denzil

I had wondered about that Jennings. Thought maybe since the engine was on a different sprue, they'd chuck all the 'A' stuff on there. If worst comes to worst, just have to drag out the old Monogram A for a tart up. A friend of mine has just imported the first (fullsize) T28A into the country, and it'd be good to do a model of it :)

Thank you guys. My grandfather lost his battle this morning. 12 days short of his 12 months. Uncle is out of hospital and recuperating at home. Grandfather is out of intensive, but still at hospital being monitored. To everyone whos been through the same thing, you have my deepest sympathy. Thanks again everyone. Take care, Denzil

G'day all, I'd not normally consider doing this, but the last month has been a bit of a gut wrencher for my family. I've lost an uncle to cancer, one of my grandfathers won't see out the week, also thanks to cancer. My father in law and another grandfather have been in intensive care after suffering heart attacks. The cancer we knew was coming, but to be so close together, and the heart attacks, have just knocked us all for six. Can i please ask for your thoughts and prayers for my rellies. Thommo, AVGBob is right, kicks of at 8am EST. HOWEVER, if you guys are on daylight saving the time will need to be adjusted accordingly. I'm a relative noob, but normally we watch the chatroom. I don't think there needs be any more added to this post, but i couldn't go on without saying THANKYOU to all the guys in the commercial aviation industry who posted. I dont know what the aviation world is like for the rest of the planet, but here in Australia it's a painfull, tedious, thankless and stressfull profession. If you're lucky. I'm only a lowly 'black hander', but have planety of friends going through the commercial pilot 'motion' (most, doing the fixed wing thing), and the sad truth is that aviation is no free ride. It's sacrificing just about EVERYTHING to achieve that goal;
