It looks to be pretty sturdy, and I don't mind raised panel lines, but how is it for accuracy?

Ill get with you guys after the Bama game. -
I have finally realized that my plan to build the CAG bird for All Vietnam era F-4 squadrons is probably not going to happen. So if anyone is interested let me know. I have been helped out recently by a couple of guys on this site, so I hope I have something somebody needs. I just figure I have no need to sit on alot of decals when someone else might need them. I can work out costs and stuff by PM. Shouldn't be much if even at all. I would probably even take a trade. I am not looking to make anything here, but I don't know how much shipping from Alaska is for stuff like this. I am willin

I really appreciate all the input fellas.

I agree. On another note also, on the MK series of bombs, I have noticed that on the real things, that the stripes arent always perfect anyway, so I really don't sweat perfection on them.

It kind of makes me want to throw my in progress E-3.

I am building the Tamiya 109, and was wondering if anyone knew the FS paint numbers for the early 109 paint schemes that are on the box sheet. Thanks

I'm looking forward to following this one, I just finished up a -5, and I have a -1D in work. Maybe I can catch a few pointers from watching your progress. I did cheat a little and start out with the Eduard pre colored cockpit.

Does anyone make an aftermarket canopy for this jet? I kind of spilled thinner on mine a few months ago, and now it is opaque. I have tried buffing it and sanding it, but it is not any better.

I kind of like both schools of thought. I love the Original Movie Enterprise better than any star trek ship. I like the new design too, but I just wish it would have kept the same basic shape. They could have done the exact same model, and just proportioned it a little better. But that is if I was building it. And I'm not. Either way, I think it is going to be great.

I have used everything from tamiya tape to 3m green tape

Well, to answer all the questions, I have a heated garage, (Thank goodness!) I usually let it dry for a day or two. I have never tried primer. I guess I should. Model Master is what they mostly carry here, but I could probably order what I need. Do yall have a suggestion on what kind of acrylic to use?
-
A few weeks ago, I was getting advice on using acrylics, since I have been swapping over from lacquer. I am using the model master acrylics, but every time I mask it, it peel a little bit when I pull up the tape. It is getting pretty frustrating, since I never had this problem with lacquer. I have to use acrylic though, since i'm in Alaska, I paint in the garage which is connected to the house. Anyone have any ideas?

Aeromaster F-8 Crusaders IV!! woo hoo

fighters get really dirty. It changes every day. Sometimes we wipe them down, sometimes we dont. The problem is getting it to scale. In 1 to 1 scale, they are really nasty, but dont look like it from a distance. I know I don't have the skill to re create it. One of the biggest things though, and it is pretty hard to recreate, is the fact that about 75 percent of fasteners in the panels don't match the color of the panel. Once a panel is changed, if a new screw is put in, it usually has a white head. I am working phase these days, and the jets we send back to the squadrons look like
