  1. That looks amazing. I love the weathering!
  2. The streamer should be on ANYTHING that has to be removed, so if its only on the seeker it's probably not a live missile. All your -21 equipment (red gear for navy) should have streamers also. At least as far as USAF rules go.
  3. Yeah I heard about that a few years ago. The switches I were talking about were the left and right auto/manual switches. I saw some of the jets are getting new hyd pumps and radomes too....
  4. I was speaking about the intakes, I forgot to reply about the ailerons. They always drop after shut down, and the horizontal tails normally sag trailing edge down. Flaps should always be up unless the pilot forgets to raise them after landing and rudders get moved by the wind alot.
  5. Once the engine is shut down they return to full up, but they can be positioned in the down position with a hydraulic cart and an external power cart. During ground maintenance engine runs, the switches are usually in the maintenance position instead of auto so they stay up instead of dropping when the jfs cuts out
  6. The intakes are in the proper ground position in the picture for being on the ground.
  7. Yeah, that's why I went with the G. Plus, I like the early look.
  8. It's just crazy that it's such a good kit with that one major flaw...
  9. Outstanding, I am absolutely interested!!
  10. Does anyone know if there are any correction kits out there for the wing to fuselage mount area? I know there used to be, but it has been years since i looked....
  11. They are regular fasteners as said above, just filled in and covered with LO materials. Different process depended on which panel. But they are not hi-locs.....
  12. Very nice build! I love the weathering!!
  13. They were still metallic green on the C's D's and E's at Elmendorf and Mountain Home when I was stationed at those bases. So those were all 84-91 models. The only white avionics bays I have encountered have been on F-16's and F-35's.
  14. Wow, I love the weathering!! Very nice build!
