  1. Thx Aaron... and there I was trying to use the insert image function B) Well, here then is some more progress... Definately still need to work on the exhausts a bit, not yet there with the black streaks inside the exhaust, and need to introduce some more bluish metal hues on the outside. Marcel
  2. Some more progress, thought I'd show these before they get masked up. Still no luck uploading. Help!! Titanium Area Titanium Area2 Titanium Area3 The area was finished with SNJ (Al and gold mix), then buffed some areas with various SNJ powders.
  3. Thx Chris... I came across a green-irridescent present bow at a drug store around the corner (CVS). I ended up getting lucky, I had ordered all kinds of irredescent confetti online but it never looked the part.
  4. Thx... and thx very much for uploading the pics, photobucket was being blocked for some reason. Yes, I used irridescent film for the HUD... I managed to find one where the effect was only very slight and only visible from some angles, didn't want things to get too gaudy. I also used the film for the HUD projector and built a little "tub" underneath it to simulate the projector underneath the lens. CRTs are from photographic film. Also worth mentioning is that I ended up adding switches and knobs made from stretched sprue and plasticard onto the Eduard color PE to give the whole thing more dept
  5. I started this a few months ago. Definately the biggest project I have ever gotten into, the number of after-market add-ons is crazy: Cutting Edge (CE) intakes, CE update set, CE AIM-120s and AIM-9s, CE WRM tanks, CE exhausts, Verlinden seats, Pete's Hangar GBU-12s, Eduard color PE, Eduard formation light strips and of coure the Two Bobs sheet. Marcel
  6. That's great detailing... looking forward to seeing it painted. Marcel
  7. That's not going to be just another Flanker Looking beautiful already! Marcel
  8. Ahh... it seems I was confused, thought somebody referred to a 1/32 nose replacement. The Revell 1/32 looks reasonable, maybe a bit on the bulbous side.
  9. Any idea who would carry the replacemet nose? Did a quick search, didn't find anything. Thx, Marcel
  10. Sweet as always Harold! Marcel
  11. Does anyone know if SAAF Gipens are carrying Pythons (V3-S) in the interim?
  12. That's looking VERY nice! Definately my favourite aircraft of all time. Pity it won't ever appear in 1/32 :-) Marcel
  13. Looks like a very nice Mig 29! Not sure why people get so hung up on colors, since they often vary wildly between aircraft supposedly wearing the same paint scheme. Marcel
  14. Wow!! Absolutely beautiful!! If only there was a 2000 in 1/32 Marcel
  15. Those tanks should be very useful for Tamiya's F-15 tanks, which are very wrong. I picked up the Cutting Edge ones, but had I not, I'd be buying some tanks from you right now. Marcel
  16. Very very nice!!! Paint work is coming along superbly. Marcel
  17. Something to note is that the kit's flaps, when chosen in the full-down position, extend below the fuselarge, which is inaccurate. Unfortunately, I only discovered this after I had already set mine in position. You may want to opt for 30 deg down, or do some minor adjustment of the hinges. Marcel
  18. Checked Ra'anan Weiss' Barak book, couldn definately not see any plates on Block 40's. Marcel
  19. Wow! Beautiful!! Helps that the subject is beautiful too :-) Marcel
  20. Second that, I have both the CAM and Harold's pods, Harold's pods are the way to go. Marcel
  21. Go here to see what it looks like with an almost finished MK6: http://s125.photobucket.com/albums/p44/hai...iafilter=images I'm all over it!
