  1. Harold, I've stocked up on two Revell kits and two MC-One exhaust sets, just waiting to order two sets from you. Which seat did you put into the cockpit here? Can't make out for sure, is that the Mk5 / Mk4? Marcel
  2. Very interesting build... and thx for the tip on making inlets, very innovative! Marcel
  3. I think the Mk5 and Mk4 are just about the same. Marcel
  4. Harold, the nose gear bay needs you. Badly. Marcel
  5. Nice work Harold! can't wait to get a copy once it is complete. I do second the question on the seat, any chance of a MB Mk4 coming out? Marcel
  6. Nice "E"! Congrats on getting this close to finishing the kit, it's just such a big project. Marcel
  7. Phew! That's ahuge project! Viel Glueck dabei. Marcel
  8. You could also just drill out the dials and fill them with Krystal Klear after painting. Marcel
  9. While I love SnJ, I do wish that for some applications I could get a more flat finish. I've tried a semi-flat clearcoat on top of the SnJ, but it does make the finish look less metal-like (looks a little grainy). I'm wondering what using a flat base coat, such as Humbrol Gunmetal, would achieve? Any other suggestions are very wlecome. Thx, Marcel
  10. Can't wait for that kit!!! And the Aires cockpit and exhausts to go with it :-) Marcel
  11. Looks great! Really like the way the pre-shading worked for you. Marcel
  12. Wow!! Beautiful F-16! Love the scheme, very nicely executed. Marcel
  13. Simply fantastic! Love the little personalized enhancements. Marcel

  15. Just wondering that since Mirage F1's carried Pythons in the late 80's (somewhat deceptively called V-3S by the SAAF), if CZ's carried them too. The book "Vlamgat" shows an F1 with a Python. Evidently, the local V-3 and for that matter the Magics were pretty useless over Angola. The SAAF only received Pythons in 1988, too late for action, but they could conceivably still have been carried by CZ'z before their retirement. Here are some pics of Cheetah live firing excercises with Pythons... http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/9656/11...645253amfk7.jpg http://img481.imageshack.us/img481/1606/11
  16. You can use a guided missile lens from the spares box--the spherical half faces upward. Sand down the bottom inset a little, and flatten the top, spherical part somewhat. Very easy to do. The Cutting Edge GPS dome supplied with their F-15E update set is too large, BTW. Marcel
  17. On the Superbug... I wonder why the wing pylons are canted outwards? Thx, Marcel
