  1. I used the Aires seat on my 1/32 Viper, it's very nicely done.
  2. Thx... though ideally, I'd like something that has the bottom hollowed out so the seat(s) fits over the raised screw fasting the cockpit to the wheel well.
  3. I wonder if there is a resin seat out there that will fit effortlessly into the F-15E. Apparantly the Quickboost seats are made for the kit, but have molded seatbelts, which I don't like. Thx for any suggestions, Marcel
  4. Great! I just ordered mine on Sunday, can't wait to see it! Marcel
  5. Can't wait to build my Chico! Scroll to the bottom of this link, I think all of your questions are answered... http://wademeyersart.tripod.com/id40.html Marcel
  6. Nice! Any chance of that in 1/32?
  7. Legacy Hornets (mainly USMC Hornets) carry the LITENING on the same station. From the photos I've seen, legacy Hornets carry Litening on the fuselarge centerline.
  8. Yeah, can't believe they can't get them t at least fit right., for that kind of cash. I just sanded the plastic down, rescribed, I think they should fit now (am in the middle of the build). I've had so many bad experiences with resin lately, I'm not sure why I bother buying the stuff. In fact, I have radically cut back and am only buying seats anymore. Marcel
  9. GBU-31(V)3/B 2,000lb JDAM and GBU-38 500lb JDAM, in 1/32, would be great! Incidentally, I just started working on your 1/32 Litening this evening. Marcel
  10. I have both the Mk 82 and GBU-10 sets, they really are not that great, very poorly cast. On the other hand, the J-79 burners cans are great. Also have the gun pod sets, they look pretty good.
  11. Very nice Hornet!! I'm building my F/A-18D right now... any particularly painful issue I should be aware of? I'm about to fix the wings to the fuselarge. Marcel
  12. Hello Harold, that looks like a fantastic gun pod... I will definately be building "Chico the Gunfighter" in future, unfortunately, I already have two CAM gunpods... may buy yours though, my experience with CAM has been pretty bad so far (poor quality). I don't have the Tamiya kit yet (I have a lean inventory strategy as far as kits are concerned), will I be needing your Chico pylons? Thx, Marcel
  13. I seem to remember reading that USAF F-16s now also employ the laser Maverick, have also seen a pic of an F-16 over Iraq carrying one, unfortunately I don't have a copy of the pic. http://www.military.com/NewsContent/0,13319,155298,00.html http://www.spacewar.com/reports/Laser_Guid...e_Need_999.html
  14. yeah... that grey just looked even darker than on the mod-1 scheme...
  15. Ok, I'm convinced... pity, I was looking forward to doing a slightly out of the ordinary F-15C :-)
  16. mmmmnnn, still seems darker to me, like gunship grey (f-15e)...
  17. The dark grey on this Gorillas Eagle looks unusually dark... I'm wondering if anyone has any more information on it i.e. what exact color it is? Thx, Marcel http://www.33fw.acc.af.mil/shared/media/ph...F-3408B-017.jpg
  18. just sent you a message requesting e-mail so i can send over the pics...
  19. I actually could use the reference material on the IAF F-16C Block 40. All black cockpit, huh? Sounds kinda cool looking. Thanks! Also> Is it OK to use the wide-mouth intake for a F-16C Block 52 for, let's say, and HAF F-16c block 52? Ron Israeli F-16C Block 40s have the wide mouth intake, so you'll be fine there.
