  1. Perfect! Thank you so much Sergei 😉
  2. Thanks for the reply. I guess what I was trying to convey and did a poor job of, knowing the range issues the Mig-29 once had and because I've never seen the aircraft with wings tanks and armament whether bombs or missiles at the same time whether this meant these photos just depict an aircraft on a long ferry flight but as a normal practice these would be left off.
  3. Aloha Everyone! Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not the external fuel tanks for the Mig-29SMT are more often than not used for ferrying purposes. I've seen a good amount of photo's with rockets, and bombs loaded with a centerline tank but hardly any photos with the wing fuel tanks and armament. In fact I've hardly seen many photos of bombed up ones too! Thank you in advance!
  4. Aloha everyone! This has probably been asked over and over but what Tamiya or Life Color paints can I use for the wheel bays, engine compartment, rotorhead assembly for the MIL-24V? Thank you in advance! Kurt
  5. Aloha everyone!!!! I have a question regarding the pylons on the 1/48th scale Trumpeter Mig-27 kit. I noticed the pylon on the glove in the box art is not even included in the kit. I'm planning on using the MER rack but the instructions are so vague on which pylon to use with it that I'm simply too baffled, help!!!! Can anyone inform me either where I can get aftermarket ones or which ones to use? Thank you in advance!! Kurt
  6. Aloha everyone!!!! Just curious did the French air force just recently adopt a new overall grey scheme for their Mirage 2000D? I've seen pictures of one at I believe the recent Farnbourough show but I'm not sure if this was just a "show" scheme. Can anyone help me with this? Oh and one more thing I read that the French air force has a, what we would consider, a MER rack, does anyone have photo's of what these look like? Mahalo in advance!!!! Kurt
  7. Thank you both for the info. Do you happen to know if, lets say, Aires or CMK makes these items sold separately?
  8. Aloha everyone!!!! So I've got my Tamiya 1/48th scale F-16C (the Thunderbirds one) out and was looking at what it would take to convert it to a Block 60 variant. I noticed that Wolfpack Designs has an update set for the Hasegawa's F-16E variant complete with a new nose and thought to myself "well that must be a huge chunk of that conversion just sitting there". However here's my question. Does anyone know if the cross section between the Hasegawa's nose and Tamiya's nose close enough so that I could mate them both? Another words can I take the resin nose from the Wolfpack kit and mate it to
  9. Aloha everyone!! Just wondering if anyone knew what colors are used for this scheme, the Have Glass 5 on the F-16. I've read that it closely resembles the F-35 so I was going to use FS 36118 which I believe is Gunship Gray. But I'm not sure if this is overall or if there's a second gray in use on the underside maybe. Furthermore does this change up what the color of the weapons carried would be. Help!!! Thank you in advance!! Kurt
  10. Thank you so much!!! Yes actually this is the sole pictures I was talking about that I have haha! Can you tell me, in the second picture, does it appear as if the arm is extended down any?
  11. Aloha again everyone!!!! So I'm well along on the main weapons bay of my Hasegawa 1/48th scale F-22 and remembered from the Academy one I have that their kit included trapeze type arms for the AIM-20C's. Does anyone know if they lower these arms to help the ground crew with "installing" the AIM's or are these actuators lowered purely when launching missiles? Furthermore does anyone have any pictures of these arms when lowered? For the life of me I kind find them. Unless they are classified ;) Thank you in advance!!!!
  12. Thanks for the info!!! I will keep an eye it for Waco. By the way were you guys in 15's?
  13. Aloha everyone!!! Well my last post had to deal with the paint scheme of the F-35 but as of that question I actually pulled out my Academy 1/48th scale F-22 and promptly started whittling away at it. I been scratching my head over whether or not to use the drop tanks the kit provides as I normally like to "hang things" on the wings. But here's my question. I know a lot has been said about the fact that if you have anything on the wings it would take away from the F-22's stealthy advantage. But then I came across a photo of an F-22 intercept of a Bear bomber and it had tanks on! So what gives?
