  1. Nothing but praise on your work. I'm looking forward to seeing this with paint on to bring it all together. Arduino, programming your own lighting effects?
  2. You're not joking, that's a nice instrument panel. Nice work on the build, it's looking sharp!
  3. Nice work again. Definitely shaping up to be a brilliant build.....without having even touched the exterior yet!
  4. Definitely impressive work on the nacelles and nozzles. Glad you're posting your steps, I may need them too!
  5. Excellent work on the engine nacelles and the entire project. Your painting is extremely well done. Now.....maybe I'll have to just sell my Su-30! lol
  6. Wow....that's some good looking work there, that leather backing piece definitely looks the part.....along with everything else!. All the metal is from the Green Strawberry set then? Definitely a good reason to pick this up (if I ever thought about getting a Viper ;)). Nice work Mark. More please! ha!
  7. All daylight 🙂 Next model......the wife thinks I should do the little 1/1000 USS Defiant (from Star Trek DS9) that I picked up. But.....I've been eyeing my Bandai K-2S0 or AT-ST. Or something else....I think I have 20 unbuilt kits right now lol
  8. Beautiful work and weathering, not overly done (minus the giant Photobucket watermark lol). Any idea what the significance of the US insignia is? I've not seen it like that before (that I recall at least).
  9. Thanks Mark! I shot some better images, if you want to look here......
  10. Finished this up this week. Fun kit with a bit of aftermarket from Paragrafix. I also picked up the Polar Lights lighting kit for it, which included some photoetch replacement parts. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I didn't take any photos of the underside until after I had put away all my camera gear. Go figure.
  11. Beautiful work on the console. I can imagine that the entire cockpit is going to be stunning when you’re through with it.
  12. Well, she's done. I'll take finished pictures later in the week. Fun build, well engineered and well thought out by the Polar Lights crew. I'd recommend it for those that like Star Trek kits.
  13. Huh, I guess they used whatever existing items they could for the show. I saw a headset I used years ago (minus the cord) in Razor. Very nice work on the control column/joy stick, definitely looks the part.
  14. I keep having to remind myself this isn't a Randy Cooper sized Star Destroyer.......your detail is astounding. When I grow up, I hope I can do something like this! lol (39 years isn't grown up right?)
  15. I'll echo icon. Definitely looking the part of a Viper now. Now.....where are those pictures of the screens installed? :)
  16. Now Starbuck can have normal legs! Nice work, this is turning out to be quite the job to make it right.
  17. Thanks Ken, thanks Mark. I've finished up the weathering.....just need to work on some light diffusion and then start adding the tiny greeblies that I've avoided installing till now. Blurry shot from the phone the other night, a bit too dark......or the heavy beers, one of the two :)
  18. Maybe Starbucks legs were a lot smaller than a normal humans? Something to do with banging her knee against a rock? Looks like some work and brainstorming to do, but......that's why we enjoy these kits!
  19. Nice work Mark. That's a huge improvement over what Moebius thought was "good". Looking forward to seeing more work like this as you progress.
  20. Beyond impressive work. The count would be interesting to know 😉
