  1. Kinda random but it came to me reading L&L's post; what if you used a F-14 windscreen/canopy for a front door? The windscreen folds down and the canopy up to provide an entryway. Locks are integrated into the 'doorframe' ( ) as well as environmental seal and it's pretty strong.
  2. So then the Acad canopy just sucks? I thought the 27M/35BM had canopies more bulged than normal.
  3. Speedbrake's deleted, retractable IFR rpobe IIRC the canopy's reprofiled (made taller/more bubble-shaped) Plus it's got the freaking coolest paint jov ever put on a Flanker.
  4. Now isn't that a bit harsh? It is inaccurate but they're a fun build.
  5. She's really looking nice! Especially like the IFR probe. Gotta show us some pics of the pit man!
  6. can't quite get the camera to zoom in that far. There are no refs to as what the integrated FLIR/targeting pods would have looked like so all I did was take spome sprue and shape it to look like the forward half of a AAQ-14, lop the front mm off a Dragon AAQ-13 (F-14D/AV-8B kits) and glue/putty both onto separate Phoenix pallets.
  7. Some old stuff that I'm finally getting around to posting; 1: AST-21 'F-14E' Proposed NG upgrade for the F-14s incorporating advanced avionics, enlarged wing gloves, larger elevons, the GE F-110-129 engine (TV was discussed) and a LANTIRN suite-equivalent integrated into the forward Phoenix pallets. This is built from the Revell 1:144 F-14D in Grim Reapers high-vis. 2: F-16XL/G in Israeli markings. Decals came from a DML Kfir that I mucked-up and the XL is ARII's product, so it just came with test markings. Odinance is provided via the spares box. 3: Pukin' Dogs F-14A catshot diora
  8. Update; I've been working on the detail for this bird including ECM gear, countermeasures, and the AAM-4 mountings. Visible in the photo are: - High-res/speed camera suite under the nose to provide 360/360 visibility coverage. Camera data is cyber-cast into pilot's vision. Also able to provide thermal imaging. - SakuraEDS radar-warnign receivers on the intakes, main component of the SakuaEDS system that provides 360/360 radar warning coverage, also able to detect MM wave radiation, and act as jamming antennae when needed. - Pylons for AAM-4 carriage in the tunnel, four semi-recessed nad
  9. Nice and clean, cool loadout. (Edit; clarification)
  10. Well, Kinetic dropped the LE flaps on the F-16, so maybe they'll do a decent wingfold for us?
  11. much better ! Looks almost exactly like a 1:48 Hasegawa canopy.
  12. Not really. I just watched through once and not really an expert on the girls' pantsu. I was pretty much enamored with Gertrude, Erica, and Mio and the rest were meh to me (except Elia and Sanya, those two pegged the kawai factor for me, so cute!)
  13. Sorry, it looked like five launchers. Either way, that's a lotta armor not going home off the battlefield, and we all know how frickinfantasticallyawesome the ALARM missile is. Though, IIRC, the Tiffie can haul eight launchers for 24 Brimstones, correct? Now that's a warload! (Edit: spelling)
  14. That loadout is some sick-*** dope shizznit. How many Brimsones is that thing hauling? 15?
  15. So I take it that the door-mounted sparrow didn't interfere with anything on the wet pylons? the Sparrow's wingspan is pretty big.
  16. Oh, that's what that was from (avatars from two guys on a forum) . Gotta say...ew. And Strike witches was cute, und Frau Barkhorn ist (IMO) ganz Moe! As for the gym pantsu...well, it's not the weirdest thing to come from Japan.
  17. Oh hells's bells and big conch sea shells! (say that five times fast). That is really cool, I didn't think the F-16's MLG doors could take the weight of a pylon and Sparrow. Excellent idea to file away in the ol' whiff folder, thanks ! :)
  18. Whoever tooled that deserves to be hanged.
  19. I'm looking at the Desert Falcon and wondering what the heck the tip extensions on the -132's feathers are. Are they purely for engine identification or do they contribute to the thrust? They're clearly riveted onto the standard petals.
  20. I know I know. Though in all honesty I like the original Diana better, the 'yellow tail' version. The new one just doesn't look good, might be the blue not going as good as yellow with the three-tone. What issue did the 'Brass' have? International scandalous outrage? Depreciation of the AF's reputation? Depreciating the Netherland's Reputation?
  21. I'm just saying; 1, it's Europe, they shouldn't mind a bit of breast and skin. 2, it's the same country that has fricking Amsterdam! Pot isn't the only thing allowed in that city, all kinds of debauchery and sodomy unmentionable here.
  22. I don't get it though. Anyone in the Dutch AF...from the Netherlands...the same country that has Amsterdam...thought Diana was too racy. (Edit; spelling)
