Reminds me to a similar project I've seen elsewhere a while back, is that possible? Nevertheless it's a beautiful project

looking good in the end, missing a light wash though around the details to make them pop out... -
looks good though... I would be glad with such a result...

nice "start" ;-) love to see this one finished... didn't know about the red used as a primer...

Looking very good... there's no real trouble in decalling and then masking to spray further, but let the decals set well (maybe a test on a spare piece), seal it in, let it dry thoroughly and prepare the tape so that it looses a bit of it's stickyness... Must admit, I also got cold feet for my JGSDF F-15 (albeit a whole lot smaller), but it worked fine in the end...

Thx, Scratched the extra trim and the vortexgenerators: Normally these are other types in V-shape, but... these are already 0,5*0.8mm Then an extra exhaust and some antennas. Finally I added the wings top, pretty big model in the end:

stumbled across this one: artwork is from 1994, so well before...

thx, hopefully the last details like the trim, wiring for the rudder, antenna's, some attempt to make birdslicers on the front wings and some extra cowlings that I found... Still a lot to do, but hey, christmas holidays are coming, so hopefully I can finish this one...

landing gear replaced by a scratched one, the one from the kit was completely fictitious. Only thing I reused were the wheels: Soon the last details and off to paint...

looks strange, but then I tend to mix some clear in my paintcup... and so I only have to seal after decals -

looks good, very good. Thx for taking the time to explain the process. Did you use white for the inside of the outer burner cans and did you leave the deeper part black? Or did you also paint these in basecolor aluminium? -
paint it red first, then apply the other colors?

Hull is completely glued:I used some electric wire to keep everything at its place while drying... nice, no, but it did the job: Looks good, after measuring everything was parallelFurther a lot of sanding:Main wing assembled and sanded:exhausts in the kit are placed at the bottom of the hull, in reality they are at the sides for the front engine, and on top for the rear engine:closed the holes with sprue, and filed the seams between the wings and the hull and booms..: Rear is also different:(the bulges at the end are the exhaust manifolds, still need to make these)I had to remove t

Maybe temperature, or surfaces are not clean. I tend to flatten my solder with a plier and then cut off some small amounts that I need.
