  1. This one's on display in Hudson, Wisconsin. It'll be in front of the local American Legion or VFW. (I forgot which one.) I took these visiting in-laws last July. No exact match for 53-6026, either. -C
  2. The last 3: I checked the serial number for this one against Joe Baugher's excellent online reference and did not see an exact match. I assume that 0-36026 is a 1950 number. -C
  3. Me with the .50 Starboard cat Even further starboard Meeting of the Minds IZ-bound VFA-113 VFA-22
  4. Crusader flying with wings folded! Crusader landing Did I mention this is my favorite plane? -C
  5. To avoid confusion, and in spirit of full disclosure, a bit ago I posted links to several photos in my Photobucket account. I received the images in an email from my dear ole' Dad, a retired Navy PH (photographer--a rating I understand does not exist anymore in the advent of new technologies...) This image he scanned and sent me, and I assumed he snapped it. This may not be the case in that I've found the exact same image elsewhere on the web. -C
  6. USMC A-4 Skyhawk Aft view of A-5 Viggies in formation Stoofs comin' in! RF-8 near mountain Aft view of RF-8 Underneath an RF-8 High contrast RF-8 Crusader drinking from Skyhawk RF-8 touching down -C
  7. Thanks, Gregg. I think I'm leaning towards arctic camo, but am undecided on markings as of yet. Was thinking perhaps as the bottom plane here, though not marked like a Stuka. -C
  8. After doing a few searches, I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that there are no really eye-grabbing aftermarket decal sets for the F-101. By this I mean some really bold hi-viz type markings. Perhaps the F-101 was not really subject to this style of marking in the first place, which if true, is sad, IMHO. Any recommendations? Or should I do a fun "what if?" of a Voodoo dressing up as something else? -C
  9. I may try and grab some buddies from work and drive down--from DC. Never been to any con before, why not start with a biggee? -Charlie
