I use different kinds of glues for different situations, but I have been using Contacta in that line up since 1990. I lost the needle cover years ago, and even though it is still 30 years old, the glue still does its job. (I have the first bottle of it I bought) I have also bought a newer bottle of it as well. Absolutely no complaints about that stuff.... As far as MM paint goes, Im buying the snot out of it while I can....

If history held true, the next big engagement would be the Battle of Coral Sea, and then Midway. You are looking at 6-7 months. There was possibly at least one history book on the ship that could tell you where the ships had homeported after Pearl Harbor, it wouldnt have been a stretch to catch the carriers in port somewhere between December and May. Hi, I have a 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A that is complete. ( I have both the Atlantic and Pacific boxings) I would like to trade it for a 1/48 Hasegawa (or Kinetic) F-18 A B or C. Interestingly enough, VFA-97 is now flying with AJ CVW-8 codes as well. There were flying CVW-9 NG with a mock digital paint job on the vert stabs with a red adversary star. Both are gone now. However, -97 is slated for transition to the -35C.

I dont know how big you need but you can try some HO scale clear lenses for model railroading. HO scale is 1/87 and Details West makes them in different sizes.
