  1. At a great stopping point on the Saraf while I wait on some parts to arrive by snail mail. Apparently, Takom forgot to model the armored plating on the bottom of the ships that most apaches are equipped with, so I have new pieces being fabricated for that as well as new landing gears. Meanwhile, I fixed the tail section from the E that was crushed under my flashlight a few weeks ago and it came out better than it was before. Its nice to have a spares box when you can afford it... I will likely have the E done in the next few weeks sans weapons. The E will not have removable weapons
  2. Thanks for the kind words, Dave! Anyways, update...got the Saraf wings ready with some detachable pylons. On this Saraf I will have the open pylons with the Spike NLOS on the o/b rails and fuel tanks inboard. Mind you these will all be detachable, so I will have some rocket pods and hellfire racks made up for them as well, but these examples are ready for painting. I also had fixed the landing gear struts as either I mislocated one strut when I glued it or it just popped out when I set it down after gluing it. Will be probably replacing the gear with a set from Simone Plai here shortly p
  3. Yeah it was made by a russian model builder who poured over every single rivet and panel line from all the pictures he could find on the net. It is by far the most accurate image Ive seen for panel lines, and Ive been searching for 2 decades. Will be about a month before I get the stuff, so Im going to continue the Apaches until then...and maybe even my Zulu Cobra.
  4. Ok, Ill try to host it elsewhere. I dont particularly care for google drive, give me a few minutes. edit: gave you permission for the google drive, but heres a dropbox link for anyone else. if anyone has problems with it let me know and Ill fix. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/sbz17ibdyaicb1t2vropc/B-1A-B-1B-drawings-c-Okolelov-AiV-6-2018-2.pdf?rlkey=6swupixzpco213wybats8igkq&st=3m1ekyon&dl=0
  5. NP. I just dropped the hammer on some CRLs and the MLG bays...guessing Im making the trip to storage to finally get my Bone out and finally get to building again. $577 bucks. Wish there was another way, a better way..not hurting me none.
  6. They arent really blueprints, but its a 100% accurate pictograph showing every single panel on the aircraft from all possible angles. Ill see if I can find it on my drive and host it for you. Keep in mind that this works for both the A and B versions. edit: heres a small picture of what to expect. the download link is for the PDF. the resolution is pretty good so the screen doesnt really do it much justice. https://drive.google.com/file/d/14ocrgsTWP8qJ6IveNjSyCGXYme-kPcg2/view?usp=sharing
  7. Oh definitely! I might just put the AH1Z and my other apache models down until I finally get this thing done. Last I worked on this I was rescribing panel lines off the main body and working per blueprint to get the accurate lines down and got about halfway done with that. Now with all these pieces coming in its just a matter of painting the tiny little details and I can certainly do that!
  8. I have all the goodies for the ship - mechanical flaps, nose, intakes and exhaust, all the barracuda resin and metallic details resin I could get my hands on. I can finally after 20 years get this aircraft built the way I want it, and I CANT WAIT!
  9. About how Im the douche in all of this, Id be MORE than happy to have this conversation private than public...but I can do public too. Care to explain?

Guessing the whole "ban, run and hide" thing is your deal. Dont worry, Ill go far out of my way to make sure Bone Fragments is outed as the angry owner who acts childish when someone complains about the smallest thing about him or when someone gets excited to buy something from him. Im happy to spread the word.

  10. Im excited about that news too, if it works then I guess this is going to be a metallic details aircraft. Ill get some sets here in the coming days and report back when I get them.
  11. Not going to answer my question I take it. Guess I get to be called a douche without further elaboration or proof which is something Jarred has done to me a few times in emails. Glad I kept them.
  12. Nope, that's not it at all. My experience has been VASTLY different. I'd love to have a convo about my issue, but I'm not one to do it publicly since he isn't here to clear the air. He doesn't want my money, and I'd rather spend 400 bucks on a company who wants my business rather than someone with anger management issues. Also how was I the douche? Please.fill me in because all I ever said quite literally was that he wasn't open for 4 years and I've waited patiently. Ill wait for clarification. I'd also point out I've had nothing but good interactions with him up until 3 months ag
  13. Because Jarred Bradley isn't that great of a person. I'll never deal with him ever again, and ill just leave it at that.
  14. Yeah I'd agree with you, wish I had the talent and patience to scratch build complicated structures. The Bone is my all time favorite aircraft and I want mine perfect. Been waiting since 2008 to finish building mine and now I'm finally seeing literally everything falling into place and that's something I'm willing to shed cheddar on.
  15. Yeah they're expensive. Honestly think it's better than the alternative if you ask me..I'll be getting a set here in a few days and report back.
  16. https://metallicdetails.com/product/mdr48249-b-1b-lancer-bomb-bays/ If ANYONE has been interested in a rotary launcher or new bomb bay, Met Details has you covered now.
  17. Yep, those be the pods I have. Have a set from leather neck along with some rockets to insert.
  18. I have a set if APKWS pods that are going on, got a bunch for my Apache that aren't going in use.
  19. Ive thought about getting this engine for the past few days...without all the references I need, theres no way I can do this without scratch building things I dont even know exists, so Im going to squash this idea for a while...at least until I figure out if I CAN do it easily. Its something Ive never really tried before and Im having a hard enough time with aftermarket stuff as it is.
  20. Awesome, ordered today thank you! You mentioned other things as well that you were working on with the Zulu, you have anything else?
  21. OOh, Ive never seen that before and Ive even been looking for upgrade parts for this too...man, thanks for pointing that out! Not sure if that one will fit though...
  22. I know I kind of abandoned this project, but Ill be restarting it here shortly and would like to know if you were intending to release a replacement set? I havent seen anything mentioned on your FB page regarding these, so thought I would ask... Also I have a bit more upgrades for the helicopter now too so once Im done with my AH-64DI Saraf and E variants, Ill be finally ready to start work on this thing again.
  23. Decided to build an extra set of engines to replace in one of my builds. Think it looks better than the others by far...still have to put the hydro and fuel lines on and some detailing later. Edit: finished connecting all the lines and managed to FINALLY get them all in the correct spot without breaking anything, losing anything, or smudging anything.
