Hi guys, as I'm at a steady glacial pace starting with my 2 Tamiya F-16 kits, I need a few tips with exhaust area of the birds. I'm doing a Block 32 Aggressor with the F100-PW-100 and a SCANG Block 52 bird with the F100-PW-229 from the early days of OIF. The question is this, I've got the Afterburner Stencils for the F-16 and want to use carbonfibre petal decals, firstly are they realistic? as they look a bit different from the other decals I've seen on the exhaust like in this build, and secondly what should the base colour be to apply the decals over? Hi Guys I'm in the process of building a 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Vb in South African Airforce markings during the north african campaign, I want to install the Aires cockpit and have sanded off the sidewalls and I'm just a bit nervous about the fit has anyone tried installing one of these before? Are there any particular areas I should pay extra attention to? Thank You

I f you haven't bought it yet why don't you use the Aires Block 32 exhuast for the Tamiya kit, I know the later engines got carbon fibre feathers, but that can be achived through paint or decals, but basicly they are similar, from the outside that is... -
Well I gave the kit a go.... and I sanded a hole in the forward fuselage trying to fit the aires cockpit!!!! I think I'll put the kit back in the stash, and return to it in a millenium or so.... well I suppose thats how you learn

:D So much for an easy relaxing build... well I'm still going to give it a go, luckily I now know what I'm letting myself in for. Any comment on the underwing fuel tanks? Thanks for the reply :)
