  1. Looking for this reference book from IsraDecal, shoot me a PM if you have it and would like to sell it, thanks! https://imgur.com/a/2pZ4f9U https://i.imgur.com/NZGhsvi.jpg
  2. Gratz! Must be the F-16😀 For full pic coverage of event please go to: http://www.ipmsroscoeturner.org/
  3. Well, despite all that, we are expecting a record number for this event compared to our previous events. Everybody speeds around here, not sure how fast one must go before the cops pull you over, but it has to be at least 10 over the speed limit.
  4. I'm working the registration table, would be great to meet fellow ARC members! https://imgur.com/a/EsctMCh
  5. I quit guessing with the Future and switched mostly to the Alclad II clear coat products, when my final Future is gone I will not be replacing it.
  6. Okay, just checking, I have one with extras that I'm a little partial too, but if the trade is right....
  7. I use the sensitive medical tape when masking most Acrylics, Tamiya tape has a strong grip.
  8. I think the Gray primer is close to one of the Gull Gray colors.
  9. It pull off when removing a mask from a canopy that had been dipped in it like you would with Future.
  10. I haven't had as much down time as many during the Covid Pandemic, but some progress has been made, the Monogram and Hasegawa kits had minimal putty issues to deal with, the Eduard kit is another story, got some serious wing gaps to fill! The Monogram and Hasegawa planes are currently sitting in black base waiting for the next step in painting, they look like a couple of stealth aircraft...lol!
  11. Wing mounting to fuselage: MONOGRAM EDUARD Hasegawa
  12. We got wings! MONOGRAM: EDUARD: HASEGAWA: GROUP COOLING INTAKE COMPARISON:
  13. The Hasegawa kit is ready for wings, fit was quite good as expected with Hasegawa engineering, no issues noted. Don't forget to drill out the four little holes in the nose! The little hatch on the nose is a nice touch for adding final nose weight before buttoning it up.
  14. The Eduard kit is ready for wings, the fuselage went together generally well, one half seemed to be a hair shorter than the other half at the tail.
  15. At the point where it's time to install the wings, good place to stop and catch the next kit up to this point. The Monogram kit definitely has more to do before the wing goes on than the other two kits due to the engine exhaust on one side being installed through the inside of the fuselage before wing installation. Depending on how you want to paint the exhaust area, one could just install it and paint later, I chose the hard way of course. Also, it was easier to paint the exposed engine bay without the wing getting in the way.
  16. Looking great so far! I built the F-101B about 10 years ago, had some frustrating spots, but in the end it was worth it. It's a beast of a plane, it dwarfed a lot of the other 1/48 Jets I was building at the time.
  17. Easing back into the foray, here we have the Monogram P-39 getting exhaust port treatment before the manifold is installed. The fuselage buttoned up fairly easily, the dorsal air scoop will require a little cleanup work, but nothing major.
