Hey Frank, in order to produce custom decals, you'll need decal films, so throw a look here. I would believe that most people design their decals using Photoshop.

Try here. That's what I use and it's quite reliable.

So... all in a sequence it is paint coat, pastel weathering, gloss coat, decals, dull coat?

Yeah the same issue concerns me, too. Maybe someone with more expertise can help us out here?

You must have forgotten to put weight insight the nose cone prior to the final assembly. Good luck, hopefully someone can help you salvage the problem.

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie in the field of model building, and I got a very newbish question for you: is it recommended to clear coat my model at all times or are there circumstances where I should spare my model a clear coat? I've seen many great models with an excellent clear finish, which looks very thin on the model, as if the colors themselves are glossy. But when I airbrush my model with Revell Gloss color, I get this somewhat thick surface, looks ok, but definitely like a glossy surface over the color surface? Any suggestions?
