  1. And of course... Jake comes to the "rescue"... Hey Jake, I saw a CG (I think, don't remember exactly) from ET with the tailcode "AFDTC" in the book. Do you have any idea what that stands for? My guess is something like "Air Force Development Test Center" but I'm not sure if such a facility actually exists to warrant this name. Could you post some more Eddie Orange 'n Whites? They'll come in handy when I do Bob's Test Vipers sheet. Oh and btw, I heard Greg mention that the Block 15s from ET and ED are going out of service? Can you confirm? Those are some interesting birds that I'm hoping Sc
  2. Hey Scott, do you have any previews of the Pres. Ford noseart? :D
  3. I recently bought Jamie Hunter's "Testing Top Guns" book and had a great read, so I thought "Why not start a topic on ARC?" So... bring it on guys - post those shots of the testing units !
  4. Actually, someone has already done an F-16G aka USAF F-2: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....23&hl=F-16G
  5. I saw a pic of the Shaw flight line - a bunch of 16s from a variety of squadrons were mixed together, and one demo bird was even fully armed with CATMs. http://www.dodmedia.osd.mil/JCCC/Still/200...-4338B-012.JPEG WARNING: LARGE PICTURE Look at that Have Glass'ed Viper down the line with a brand new radome!
  6. According to F-16.net they apparently flew a few Block 25s as well. A little diggin' on the site turned up this Block 32: http://www.f-16.net/gallery_item34135.html I must admit I didn't knew the 93rd had Block 32s, or Block 25s for that matter.
  7. I have seen pics of the A Mako with AIM-120s on the wingtips.
  8. Hey Mark, great progress so far! Can't wait to see it finished. Is that the F-16 you bought from me a while ago?
  9. The cockpit looks phenomenal! One question though: are you planning to install the HUD repeater afterwards?
  10. Yeah guys, I sold Charles the old Revell kit but apparently it's missing its canopy piece. It'd be great if someone can help him out.
  11. Thanks Dave! Same to you - prompt payment and great communication! Enjoy the kits!
  12. LAPD is my favorite PD and the black & white is their "trademark". Looks great!
  13. This needs to be pinned to the home page of ARC. Most people order things they do not immediately build, so yeah, what is the big hurry if a reasonable circumstances are present? I have dealt with Paul from back in the days when he still ran Victory Models. I've told this story before, but I'll tell it again: DACO/Astra has released some F-16 decals for the Aviano based 31 FW. It turned out the first edition had too dark of a color on the tail markings, so Danny released another set. I bought several 1/72 sheets from Paul's Victory Models and discovered, to my initial dismay, that they were
  14. I have two of the new tooled Bs (same sprues as Ds as I understand) for sale if anyone needs some.
  15. Any suggestions on the best way of replicating the black sheepskin in scale?
  16. I sure hope the F-5E cockpit is one of them! Maybe those crazy people after the SOL Flanker sets can have their dream fulfilled too.
  17. Hehe... just about everything - that's the beauty of it.
  18. Yeah, I wonder if there are other circumstances under which the LGB heads are "raised".
  19. Kinda weird considering those are live munitions and the aircraft is parked with RBF tags still on...
  20. Hmm... aren't the seeker heads supposed to be dropped when powered off?
  21. I've never seen a modern day Viper with a B-61 - captive or not. The only shot I've seen is a C(?)B-61 on a TJ Viper back in the days.
  22. Wow that's the best Eurofighter build I've seen. Do you have more pics/details on what aftermarket sets were used?
