  1. Top notch work. One of the best I've seen for the RSAF specially in terms of camo accuracy :thumbsup:/>
  2. The word AMAZING falls short to do justice here. Congratulations. The scratch-building of the nose canon for the base is a piece of art by itself
  3. Excellent job, Vic, one of the best F-5s I've seen. Love the weathering
  4. Hi all. One day I was walking around downtown eBay and I happened to come across this kit: I built this model about 12 yrs ago and it was one of my favorite on my shelves but one day a very close friend of mine came to my house to say good-bye...he was moving to Texas and he always loved my models. I simply couldn't say no and he ended up loading his Ford Explorer with not just that Mig-29 but with some other ones too :o/>/>/> ...I felt bad at first to see my models go, but that feeling soon changed. Anyway, as I was saying, after not seeing that kit for a looooong time as
  5. Nice looking Phantom, she's got dirt up to the gills but that's the interesting part, good one
  6. Nice looking Tomcat, I like the spotty weathering effects, good job
  7. Amazing job, I really like the subtle weathering they have on and the quality of the paint work is superb, just the way I like models to look. Excellent
  8. Lovely Ra'am. I'm a big fan of the IAF and this puppy, along with the F-4 Kurnass, The Apache PETEN and the SARAF, The F-16I SUFA, and the Kfir, are my favorite Israeli birds. You've done a great job, the camo paint came out a treat. Very nice
  9. Oh wow, that's cool information that I'm keeping in my records. I had no clue what Airport it was except the location, which is obvious from the background sign, but didn't know the specific name/location when I created the backdrop. Thanks for your comment and your info :thumbsup:/>
  10. Thank u Boris for your nice comment :)
  11. Thank God for my wife's second shift job as this is the time the deliveries get done around here otherwise I think I'd be selling lemonade at the Sahara desert :(
  12. Your words are much appreciated, Joel. And you're doing the right thing in regard of the stash as piling up in "kits to build" has a ricochet effect that in many cases counters the real purpose of the hobby (frustration instead of fun). I'll soon post some more of my builds. Kind regards
  13. Besides being an excellent looking model, you deserve a medal for the decals job...my goodness :o
  14. Without a doubt, one of the most realistic looking Fulcrum I've seen in this scale. Outstanding and hard to find job
  15. Very nice job on that Mirage, the camo looks awesome, I really like it
  16. Thanks fellows for the nice words. Albert, no bragging here but, honestly, I've never seen any Apache conversion to an IAF chopper in 1/32 either. I dreamed of that conversion for quite a while until the day came. In regard of the tanks, as youngtiger1 said, in real life the IAF Apaches use the Balckhawk tanks, problem is, there's none in 1/32, at least I couldn't find any. So I had to go to the blueprints and get the measurements and I remember chatting with someone familiar to the IAF in Israel and I found that, with some mods here and there, the F-18 auxiliary fuel tanks fulfill the purpos
  17. Hello ARC crew. This is my second posting here at the Display Case and this time I wanted to share my conversion of the old (but still nice to me) 1/32 Revell AH-64 Apache to the Israeli Apache "PETEN". I love the IAF and this is (imho) the best looking attack helicopter (no tomatoes, please). Since this is not a build thread, I'll simply post some of the final reveal pics and I'll walk the extra mile with more details when I get it in the Gallery section. Build took me about 3 months and went through flawlessly, fit was very good for a kit this age with relatively a low parts count. Anyway, d
  18. Thanks for the nice comment. Well, no After Market used at all, everything was OOB. The kit has some inaccuracies when compared to the real jet but to be honest, I didn't care, despite the fact that there's AM stuff to correct it but following that line could be pricey. I try to keep the hobby in a balance, I mean, my priorities are to have the right tools and I get them in as much as I can for one simple reason: the right tools save time...simple as that (imho). Once I have what I need, then I move to what I want. I select the models I want to build and keep my stash low. Twenty years + in th
  19. I won't miss a single move on this one B)
  20. Hi all. I've been a member of ARC for some time but never posted anything here except for a few random comments. I returned to the hobby in 2008 after being off the styrene for almost 10 yrs and although my time is very limited for this pass-time (1 or 2 days out of the week) I've managed to put together some kits which I want to start sharing little by little here at the ARC forum. I submitted today the info for the gallery section and it says that in about 3 to 4 weeks should be up for watching...ok with me. In the mean time I want to share a few pics of that first model a submitted for the
  21. You made the best decision mate. I have the Evolution which is basically the same except for the adjusting knob in the tail (you can also get it for the Evolution, I have it) and the open middle body. Parts for both airbrushes are compatible except for a couple of parts made only for the Infinity like the round precision nozzle (of no use for modeling anyway). Enjoy your baby as it's worth its price.
  22. If your budget is not too tight, Harder and Steenbeck (Evolution or Infinity) are top of the line airbrushes made in Germany but easy to get parts for. I love my evolution 2 in 1. Check it out here http://www.chicagoairbrushsupply.com/ or this one http://www.germanairbrush.com/evolution2in1.html
