  1. Saw your post about fire bomber P-3s on the Caracal page...I didn't want to hijack Kursad's page with another company's product but just wanted to let you know that DRAW Decal does P-3 firebombers in 1/144 and 1/72;

      Big thanks for the info! Funny, as I've bought decals from Draw before, just didn't look through his whole website.

  2. Hey, just noticed you have listed a Loring AFB B-52G in your "done" list. I'm gathering references on one and have the AMT kit, planning on a SIOP scheme from the 70s/80s. The kit has the wing extensions, I haven't come across a photo yet of a Loring based bird with those (apparently for ALCM equipped birds only), have you?

      Some 42nd BW logos too...and other stuff. These would have to be printed onto whit decal paper and carefully cut out. Printing onto clear you lose the good color. I found a decent logo but without the script, so I sized them out to lay over the other less vibrant ones if need be...having a boring desk job has its perks on slow days.

      Those look pretty good! I was not impressed with the Almark sheet at all. The eternal guardian nose art was way oversized for the AMT kit and super thick not to mention they make you cut out each individual decal as if you had printed them yourself. And the sheet was missing “The moose is loose” armament square.

      I’ll have to put this on the back burner and like you said wait to see what the Model collect kit looks like, I’m on an FB-111 kick right now which is keeping me busy anyway.

      Yeah, I'm waiting to see what Kursad at Caracal does for FB-111A decals. I want to do a Pease bird of course, in the SIOP scheme, not "Dark Vark". I know there's not much in the way of definitive markings with those things, but maybe he'll at least do the "New Hampshire Special" or something.
