  1. can someone run me through a quic guide to applying decals and what i need? about to attach my first one, (its only in the cockpit) do i need to apply anything to the painted section first? also i need a setting solution right? put it on before applying, apply decal and go over with setting solution again? also when people finish their planes with a glass or varnish or whatever it is, does anybody bother to do the same to the inner of the plane and cockpit before glueing together? thanks

  8. ive started painting the pilot on my first model today. i cleaned the parts in soapy water first. now im aplying revell enamel paints straight onto him, but i notice they do not go on real well, they dry real quick as your brushing and then go kinda blotchy and rough. anyone help me with this as i want a nice finish.
  9. well i bought a few revell enamels today. and im finding that it dries very quickly when painting it on and ends up sorta going rough and blotchy. anyone know why this is? i washed the plastics in soapy water first and left to dry now painting enamel straight onto it, just started painting pilot and having this problem.
  10. hey you say in part 1 of the meteor that you have finished cleaning the parts? what with and how?
  11. i have just got back into modeling as i used to do them as a kid, everything is abit new to me now. ive picked up a revell 1/72 dornier do28 skyservant as my first model. has anyone built this model? any tips on where i should start etc? im thinking of paintin the cockpit and pilot etc first whilst still on the sprues but will i need to primer these first? also do i use enamel or acrylic paints? are there any extras i can buy for the dornier do28 as some of the parts are pretty basic and dont resemble the reak thing such as the seats and cockpit. thank you and please be patient with me :)
