  1. Yea yea yea build it build it build it. I wanna see it. And then when Kitty hawk builds it, then I can have 4 for myself
  2. I have one of those in my stash that I picked up years ago and was already assembled and broken. Sadly there would not be much crossover between them as you said scratch building would be the order of the day. It's a model that the manufacturers need to provide at some point. Just sayin'
  3. yes a 1/48th scale hh-43 is definitely needed. would be a compliment to any 1/48th collection
  4. speaking of upgrades does anyone make a C-130 dashboard that looks more C-130ish than what testors/itelari did? that is in 1/48th?
  5. oliver whatever you build will be outstanding and we can't wait to see it.
  6. there was a guy and his name excapes me but he did an upgrade kit for them but he has long since quit the manufacture. never saw one but what i read they were pretty good. swanny models did the upgrade and his parts were beautiful. however when i emailed him he replied that he no longer made the upgrade kit and his molds being silicone got tired. i too wish that someone would show a little love to the old bird.
  7. pretty cool and good looking too. is there a website where you order them?
  8. nigel, i just saw your post regarding your cans. they look great to me. it appears that you used the eduard photo etch turkey feathers with your own internal burner cans. is there a possibility that you are going to market all of the above or just the burners and we would have to suppy our own feathers? i'm guessing that you never got a reply to your queries regarding dimensional information for how deep and so forth. that sucks. there used to be some b-1's at hill afb in utah when my daughter worked there 10 years ago. i was able to drive within 40 foot of them but they wouldn't let me out of
  9. what about using the panther photo etch or maybe even using the monogram pit? would it fit?
  10. there was a guy out of portland oregon that had really cool motors and lights and electronics for sounds that would make a static model look like it was actually starting up. the motors would turn really slow and would appear to cough and spit and then rev up just like real radials. these were tied to a sound card and the affect was stunning. his company was called Dynamic Scale Modeling but unfortunately he seems to have fallen off the grid a number of years ago. not so long ago you could see many of his videos, but all that can be found now is a 1/72nd scale hercules and i believe a seahawk
  11. anything on this build lately? looking forward to any more pics!
  12. i guess i missed it. i only see the 2 pictures under the original link "the 430". did i miss something?
  13. i know that they made a sheet for the oregon f-4's. i don't know how close the fin flash to the one-o-wonder, but possibly it would be close enough that it wouldn't matter. do you know if there is a correction for the vents about the middle of one of the intakes by the wing root that is incorrect? one on one side is supposed to be round and the other side is round
