Thank You for the tip, I was hoping only the cockpit's weight would be enough to let the He-219 standing right. SouthViper
  2. Fine work , congrats Happy New Year too. SouthViper

I am talking about what I will not make, the using of metal antennae. But I just respect very well the desire of Him in using metal on the antennae, as the use of metal LGs, metal guns, or metal elsewhere he wants . :) To be honest I have turning my Tamiya He-219 an super kit using several resin sets e AM details, but for the antennae I choose the OWN RESIN sets !!! Yes I know, make what I say not what I do. Good Luck SouthViper

"Haven't used the Master Model set but honestly may not need it as the Tamiya parts are quite good for this kit" I agree with You but I think He wants install Master Model (metal antenae) because of the fragility of the plastic ones, so I thing the Master sets are very good welcomed. SouthViper
  5. Well I do have a 1/32 SAC F-4 Phantom II received from Sprue Brothers 2 Months ago. SouthViper
  6. " made in China" ? By conviction I really doubt Chinese doing such class of aircraft, unless They copy it and every copy is not superior to the original one. Well maybe They are thinking about discardable aircrafts ? By the other side I really do not access ANY chinese site and do not recommend anyone to make that. SouthViper PS- I am not xenophobic.
  7. Yes I know the excellent products made by Master because I have several of them so I would like to suggest They release the M-61 Vulcan 20mm gun for aircrafts like F-104, F-105, F-4, F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18 , and please reserve me at least 20 of them ! Good Luck SouthViper
  8. " Are you doing the color picture Ave Maria from that national Geographic published during the war from the AAF stills color colloection ? " Firstly thank You very much for Your comments, I really appreciated that. I am not doing my model based on the NatGeo footage, to be honest I even don't know about. I have an photo of the oil painting by Mr. Russell Smith depicting the B-25 "Ave Maria" during a mission over Italy and that really take my heart since I am devoted to Mother'd God, Maria, and being an Elvis fan I remember His song called "Miracle Of The Rosary" : - Oh blessed mot
  9. I am not a truly WWII modeler but I am trying to make the B-25J "Ave Maria" (12thAF, 489th Bomber Squadron, 340th Bomber Group, 57th Bomb Wing) and I would like to know if would be acceptable to install the Aires B-25B/G Cockpit Interior set in ? I bought the Quickboost 48-038 B-25 Cowlings but they are useless (under dimmensioned) and I will go with the kit's ones. Also I bought the Eduard B-25G interior "zoom" set for it , is it allowed for a B-25J ? too much different ? Any other advice will be very welcome. Thank You and Good Luck. SouthViper
  10. Uauuuu, did You see that "back" of the green hair Girl on the box top illustration ? Veru exciting SouthViper
  11. Those pictures above are of different Mirages 2000 , We have -5, -9, N, I don't know if there is some exterior relevant differences between they. SouthViper
  12. Thank You I will let it aside too. SouthViper
  13. "First, I NEED to push that whole "freeze frame" sense of time feeling. I've looked-over those brass "Prop Blur" products. I like the effect, but I'm dealing with FIVE "Rotol" blades- much different than a Curtiss Electric/Hamilton Standard blur. Much more "meatier" nearer the prop boss/spinner. Still not sure what I'm doing with the prop yet. Only alternative is to sink a small electric motor in the fuselage. I'm going to make a "blur prop" for the V-1 odometer out of clear plastic. I think I can cut a "blur" pattern into the disk." I saw an article here in ARC forums about using sev
  14. I saw that video before and I found: 1- The Spit blades turns first to right (pilot's view) and then to left (?) 2- If I was the Spit Pilot I would never tip the V-1 wing from up-down because the V-1 would turns into my flight pattern, and tipping the V-1 from bellow-up would dispacth it away. Anyway just my oppinion SouthViper
  15. Very original work, don't forget to bend the ailerons for the in action sense I never understand why not simply shoot down the V-1 in the air. Good Luck SouthViper
  16. I have purchased the venerable B-25J, Monogram 1/48, and also the Quickboost set #48038 cowlings for the B-25 G-H-J , when I observed the kit's cowlings are more wider than the QB sets for a good difference, about 2mm at side's nacelles joints. Exactly what of them is right scale measured ? Some time ago some guys referred to some Aires parts (=QB) were sub dimmensioned for the subject kit (F-14 exhausts AFAIRemember). Thank You and Good Luck. SouthViper
  17. "Or is it just better fitting into Academy's model? I've recently bought NeOmega set (without control stick, thou...), looks very promising, some parts are much more precise than Aires'" Well, when We talk about 'fitting into "x" model' We must have in mind what is the correct cockpit. Hardly some plastic model kit cockpit will be 'scaled down' exactly to some nominal scale (i.e. 1/48). So the serious AM sets (i.e. Aires) ASK the modeler to send the surrounding area on the kit where the set wil be installed. Some AM sets are under dimmensioned for the scale ( giving an idea of a 1/72 cockp
  18. Is the International credicard like a CREDIT CARD..if it then like most CREDIT CARD companies .... :) Are you saying that after the problem was discovered at Hannants and they took their site down then went back online again you noticed the false charges? The frauds were Oct-29 at Amazon and Nov-03 at Skype Only Yesterday (27-Nov) I received my Mastercard Invoice and saw the irregular debits. I live in Brasil and Hope de Bank refound . Good Luck SouthViper
  19. I am sorry to post this, but today I received from my Credicard bad news regarding the recent Hannants eletronic robbery, curiously after Hannants changed its site and the stored creditcard numbers were accessed by "rackers". Two frauds were made using my number, one at Amazon.com and onther at Skype.com. Hope I can restore that false debit. I have International credicard for more than 10 Years and I have made buyings from HK, Japan, China, Phillipines, USA, Italy and England and I never, never had any fraud before until now. Sorry SouthViper

  21. Why seamless? Why not use the latex paint method to make one seamless or put a plug in it? Where can I find an article ref latex paint to make "plug in" pieces ? Some time ago I did several my own seamless suckers for F-16A/Bs using the Tamiya green (?) compound, internally they was very smooth but outside that compound stay like porcupine and represents a lot work for sanding carefully to avoid go across the wall's intake. SouthViper
  22. F-16A Fighting Falcon If I remember well the 1/72 Seamless Suckers is OOP long time. CMK has released one too. Don't know why Aires never made this set. SouthViper
  23. The book title translating from Russian is "Su-27. Part 2. Birth of a legend" so I believe the F-5E was used by the Soviets as a study platform, or concept for new generation Russian fighters, meaning "future fighters" that came out during the 80's. SouthViper
  24. Not to mention,99.9% of all aftermarket stuff is designed for the Italeria kit... PS.. The Tornado does not have any rivets....at least none that I've seen when I worked on them! Oh yes, the Tornado now is an extraterrestrial aircraft ... no rivets !!!!! I also had the ESCI 1/48 Tornado too , back in the early 80's, and except the excellent box Artwork By Mr.R.Watanabe and decals, I really do not remember ANY good memories besides it was the only 1/48 Tornado. SouthViper
  25. Even knowing various mistakes made by some manufactorers like Tamiya, Hasegawa, Monogram, in "some" kits these companies released during the Years, despite those errors have been pointed out here or/and other Forums, the manufactorers never changed or corrected the kits. Now We have Kinetic (F-16s), HobbyBoss (A-7s, Tornadoes, F-111s) and Trumpeter (What of them ?) making aircraft kits and We see some pattern are trying to be created : "we are new in the business so excuse our bad kit" , or "excuse our bad kit because costs are higher to make a better kit" ! Please ! It is very fru
