  5. Hi, I am looking at building the same F-104C from the first deployment to SEA. The aircraft with the gray painted tails, did they also paint the horizontal stabilizer gray (top and bottom) as well or was it left natural metal? Thanks, Harold
  6. Hi, I'm after an old Superscale sheet. If someone has one to sell or trade please let me know. Even a partial sheet would work, as I'm after the F-104A variants. Link of the actual sheet I'm after: https://www.scalemates.com/products/product.php?id=128896 Thanks and Merry Christmas

  14. Sad news. I only had email contact with him and he was a pleasure to deal with. His hobby shop was on my list of places to go if I ever found myself in Calgary. My hope is his shop and legacy continue. Harold
  15. The items I was after he had to recast. So it took about a month from payment to product in hand. He did state that it would take about a month so I knew what I was getting into. Harold
  16. It was several weeks ago. He must be very busy with things other than the hobby. But if you can wait he does eventually get back to you. Harold
  17. I have been in contact with him recently. It takes some time in between emails and he is very busy. He stands by his products as I had a couple pieces that arrived that were squished out of shape and he sent replacements at no charge to me. Harold
  18. Hi, Thank you for your reply. You are the first to reply to my request. I would like to make mine similar to the one in this thread: http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/rh/articles.php?id=15653 Although I have seen an interesting marking scheme while searching on the net of a Chinook that made it out to either the Midway or Hancock. It had letters below the RSVN flag of GNP (in white) then below that the number 66 0116. It is the only photo I came across of this type of marking. All the others are with a three digit white number above the flag along with the star/bar on the fuselage. Any
  19. Hi Twig, Thanks for your reply. I found a book that has it up to serial number 63-7922 and previous. They were eventually changed over to single wheel rear gear. I'll take a close look at the pics of the one in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Cheers, Harold
