  1. Chuk, did you work on that monkey island trailer? cos i gotta say, the monkey island games would have to be my all time favorite games
  2. Just in regards to the sopranos finale, for me, at first, I was a little dissapointed with the ending, then I found this Sopranos Finale Analysis. After reading that, It has probably become my favourite tv show finale ever. But keeping on topic, I was kinda peeved with the finale, I get the whole thing about the second timeline being purgatory....thats cool and all, but it only sums up the second timeline which occurred only during the final season. Doesn't give us any more answers about the island or anything... too many loose ends. That said though, I did enjoy the series, just would have l
  3. I saw the wooden props you made and was very impressed. Unfortunately I'm not much of a classic aviation man, so they aren't of much interest to me. But I'm sure if you left the photos up a while longer they might generate a bit of interest. Cheers, Camo
  4. Coming along great Chuk, Can't wait to see the finished product!
  5. Love the idea of this diorama, gonna be keeping an eye on this one.
  6. Awesome work so far, love your tutorial on adding in the rivets, gonna order me a set of those pounce wheels on pay day. Definitely keeping an eye on this build Cheers, Camo
  7. Thank you so much for posting this image rotorwash, I've had a diorama in the plan for the past year of some ah-6s being unloaded from a c-130, I knew from previous help from ARC that the blades folded back, and that they check some wheels on the skids, but never got any good photos of it to see exactly how it's done. Cheers man :(
  8. Why not get a nice small piece of polished metal engraved? and screw it down with small screws or something? Engraving from memory isn't really all that expensive, but not quite as cheap as laminating... Edit: Erf beaten, that'll teach me to leave a page sitting there for a few hours without refreshing
  9. Got me 2 tamiya 1/16 figures, one a german machinegunner in a great coat, and the other a german machine gunner on maneuver. Also got 2 Resins Busts, a 1/7 scale bust of Captain Richard winters made by abeldertus(sp) and the other a legend 1/9 bust of an 82nd airborne... I started a Dragon 1/16 German Tank Ace a couple weeks ago, and realised how much i like doing figures, so figured I'd start stocking up Also, was very impressed with Hobby Link Japans service, had a few items on back order and they got them in lightning fast, and got them sent out straight away, only took like 5 days to ge
  10. Wow, that radio unit already looks awesome, can't imagine how great it'll be once you add some colour to it. An inspiration as always Chuk!
  11. Thanks guys, I'll go check out the hardware stores this afternoon and see if they offer any small compressors with the filters and what not. Also, Dad reckons I should just get the hoses and regulator replaced on his compressor...but i'm still weary about using such an old air compressor that hasn't been used for painting in a good 20 years....Do the water/oil traps/filters and all that ever need to be changed? or will they still be fine after all that time?
  12. Hey guys, After buying my Paasche VL I've discovered that dads air compressor really isn't suitable to be used with it, all the hose connections are really rusted and i'm pretty certain that the connections won't even fit my airbrush anyway, there's a nail through the hose, the regulator uses kg/cm instead of psi and the thing would probably be around 25-30 years old by now... So I went into the hobby shop this morning and checked out their compressors and they only had 2, couldn't see any brands or anything but. The cheapest one was AU$250ish, and was tankless, but apparently had water trap
  13. Love what you did with the PE and the knobs. And in regards to the last picture -
  14. I ended up buying the Paasche VL, now just to figure out dads compressor, uses kg/cm or something like that instead of PSI....and i'm not even sure if it has the attachments I need. Thanks for all the help guys, really appreciated Cheers, Camo
  15. So, had a hold and look at both the vl and 155, the 155 seemed to me to be a lot more solid and heavier feeling, but the VL was still solid feeling while being light and both were very comfortable to hold, had another look at the prices and the 155 was $50 more expensive, but the packaging it came with was a lot better, big solid plastic case with foam inside to seat the airbrush and everything else, while the VL only had a flimsy plastic inside a small cardboard box...I'll give em another look tomorrow arve and decide on one of them then. Oh, also, bought a $16 academy 1/48 Mirage IIIR while
