  1. Hi everybody, I'm working on a museum-scale version of the Cessna T-50 "Bobcat" in 3D, and thought you might enjoy having a look. If you'd like to see the follow-along article, it begins on my site at http://www.mikejamesmedia.com/cessna_t50_01.html This is the aircraft originally used in the 1950's TV show, "Sky King". Enjoy!
  2. Hi everybody, Just started work last night on a Boeing 787-8 "Dreamliner", using "modo". (luxology.com) This is a subdivision surface model, and is developing really quickly. If you would like to follow along with the article, it's at http://www.mikejamesmedia.com/b787_8_01.html Here are a couple of images: PS> My F-22 project is till ongoing, and latest updates, as of today, are at http://www.mikejamesmedia.com/f_22_edits_15.html Enjoy!
  3. Hi everybody, I've transitioned to "modo", a better set of 3D modeling tools, and have been working hard on the F-22. Aside from the ongoing cleanup of the mesh details, I've added a reasonable-detail cockpit, with pilot, and a lot of modeled-in doors, vents, exhausts, etc., as on the actual aircraft. Since the next phase will be adding the smallest details, (all the little "ramps and bumps" that surround most edges on the airplane) I'm working hardest on the exterior. Lots of new images at http://www.mikejamesmedia.com/f_22_edits_15.html Enjoy, Raptor fans!
  4. Hello everybody, I'm building a precision-scale F-22 in 3D, and have posted a 'follow-along" article at http://www.mikejamesmedia.com/f_22_01_intro.html It's coming along nicely, and there are not only tutorial-style pages, but also animation of the model's pars moving, etc. Enjoy!
