  1. Thanks for the explanation!, appreciate the effort on the experimentation!
  2. Excellent!, I have one of these ICM's foxbats and was wondering how to tackle it, your recoomendation about the bulkheads is greatly appreciated, and the painting looks great!
  3. Hi, I am interested, can you reply me here? Thanks, Chrys
  4. Hi, I would like to join, its a great reason to begin my Mirage 2000 tigermeet from 2006!
  5. Thats correct, I also noticed some differences, but with the combined pictures now I feel confident that I can come up with an updated/correct profile for this jet during these period of time!. Its great, I will open an In progress post for the aircraft as soon as I can get a few hours!.
  6. Scooby, It would be great to see the photos, I have been trying to get reference pictures for this aircraft and only got the first ones that I have linked, the first one was posted by Replica in Scale a little less than 1 year ago and before that side had never been seen by me. would you post a few when you have a chance? Thanks!
  7. Scotthldr, Thanks for the quick reply, now that you put the images of Red 16, I can clearly see only the two colors (both red11 & red16 are the same, they have the same camo), Red 11 seems to be the latest of them both judging the weathering. I will settle then for the 35109, 36495 and weather the dark blue with mixes, probably even 35177.... Thanks!
  8. Guys, I want to refer to the experts of this forum, I am a huge fan of the site, right now am in the process of building the Classic Airframes TA-4J and have always (literally since 15 years ago) wanted to model the Red 11, depicted in this photo. TA-4J 153512 TA-4J 153512 in Airliners It seems as if the colors are 35109 (or may it be 35190?) & 36495, and I see a lot of tonal variation due to fading, specially in the dark blue and this will need to be adjusted in the painting phase, and the questions are: 1)Are these the correct colors for the camo?, 2)It seems as if there are some p
  9. WOW , your job is excellent, a true test of what patience can achieve! congratulations on a beautiful airplane with an amazing paintjob! how did the contest went? Congrats! Skaras
  10. This is a great build!, what do you painted it with??, also, what decals did you used?, the guns do look pretty sharp, are they aftermarket? Congratulations its a great build, you should be proud!
  11. Wow!, what a beauty, I am sure glad that the sundowners were reactivated in the aggressor role!.... or should I say adversary.... :D I am taking notes from this., I have the same decal sheet and were waiting for the AFV F-5 to come out to do the same thing!
  12. Wow, nice collection you got there..... mmmhhh and now I understand why i can't find any Phantoms in my LHS..... :D .... you got them all!!
  13. I have been using Future as a decal setting agent for years, and there are some caveats worth mentioning.... a) I always "wash" the decals of the glue before putting them on the future in the model., I am scared that putting them straight after getting them loose on the backing paper will result in some staining from the glue after time., though not seen any yet.... B) The future as a solvent works very well for small decals and stencils, since it actually makes it dissapear in the paintwork, but for anything larger, it tends to pull the edges up., something to do with the capillary force an
