Building the Kinetic kit at the moment but encountering something I'm not sure how to paint. Here's a picture of it in real life: http://data3.primeportal.net/hangar/luc_colin3/super_etendard_modernisee/images/super_etendard_modernisee_37_of_77.jpg It appears to be a light of some kind, and there is one on each side off the tail boom. Any advice as to what colour they should be, and what purpose they serve?

Paint guide for Argentinian scheme: Plus the sun on the tail is represented in the decals as a brown "circle". WTF.

Hoosfoos replied to Martin @ AMK Models's topic in Jet Modeling
I would definitely buy a SuE if AMK produce one. -

What do the painting and decal guides look like? Any improvements over their last few releases?

Just got mine from LM. No complaints at all about the quality of the kit - it is light years ahead of the Heller kit. The only issue I have is that there is a stunning lack of information for colour callouts and the paint guide in general. The issues: Paint guide has reference to many colours but many are not assigned to any parts on the kit. Many assembly drawing parts are not labelled for whatever colour they should be painted. The paint guide for the aircraft profiles only shows the fuselage and wing colours, not even the nose is designated (I'm assuming it is black). Also no referenc

When does the bashing of an unreleased Trumpeter kit start?

These look very nice. You've depicted some nice subjects! Keep up the good work.

So...What's the consensus on the better 1/48 F-15C?
Hoosfoos replied to galileo1's topic in Jet Modeling
Academy's F-15E and F-15K are outstanding kits. Incredibly detailed, accurate, well engineered, and with Cartograph decals. Affordable and up to date as well, not like some 25-year-old tooling from Hasegawa. -
Resin, photoetch, plus Cartograph decals. Also have a Kinectic Mirage 2000C and F-16A/B for sale. http://www.ebay.com/itm/301539907063?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Hopefully the announced Super Etendard project will continue also. -
Guarantee either Trumpeter or Hobby Boss will eventually make one. HB have both a Tunnan and a Lansen in the pipeline. It's a matter of time.

Great idea! Thanks for doing this.
