I wonder what the new parts to the F-16C ANG are. Purists have despised Academy for shape issues in their F-16, but it looks good enough for me.

I've got the ram's heads from the Hasegawa kit if you need them. PM me if you can't acquire them from the previous guy who replied to this thread. -
I can easily say my ex did 13 of those things. Thanks for the link.

For those of you who may have missed my follow up to the original post in this thread: "It was a long time ago that I posted this topic. Here's what happened. She seemed happy with the compromise. I even stuck to even more disciplined terms that i had offered at the time, while we were together. I even bought her flowers and some vintage books as a gift for her at that juncture to show her that I cared for her. Over t

Keep in mind that while we were together, I struck a deal with her and stuck to it. But the feeling of her invalidation never left me, since she was either threatened by the fact that I have a hobby that has a mildly addictive side (and I do admit that my stash is excessive, and that I will never be able to build all of them, and that moving will be a pain in the ***, etc). I told her all these things, was upfront, and honest. I also told her that it would never spread to any other kind of compulsive behavior, and that it was never going to get any worse. We would watch episodes of "Hoarders"

The 1/72 kits come with some stenciling, but it is very limited, and nothing like the stenciling found on their 1/32 kits of the same subjects.

Hi everyone, I apologize in advance if this question has been previously asked. What kind of decal sheets are out there that carry full stenciling for the Hawker Hunter in 1/48 and 1/72)? I already know about the Daco sheet, and I am also aware of the Flightpath set for the RAF. Is there anything else out there? There appears to be a large need for them. TIA Hoosfoos

Yeah, unfortunately these new Hornet kits by Hasegawa cost an arm and a leg. It's easier to buy a cheap F-18C from eBay and add the Wolfpack designs update set. On that note, I've noticed that Wolfpack designs will be soon releasing a F/A-18C/D update set in 1/72 for the Academy kit.

Got it, guys. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the responses, guys. So far....Leading Edge do not carry them, and the CanMilAir ones are a special scheme....I'm just looking for a standard scheme.

Hi everyone. Do any decal manufacturers for the CF-18 make standard markings for the recently reformed 409 Nighthawk squadron? I know the Hobbycraft kit has decals for this squadron but it's a crappy kit. I'm looking for them in 1/72 - the Hasegawa kit has them in 1/48 and I own that kit.

Hi everyone. I'm wondering just if anyone can give me some links to what 1/48 decals are out there for the UH-1N, or the AB-212 (in particular, European countries). I already know about MAW and Fireball model works. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info, Jason, and thanks for producing your excellent products.

Hi everyone, I just bought F4dable Models' excellent "Export Bugs" decals. I can build a Spanish Hornet right oob with the Hasegawa kit, but apparently for the Finnish and Spanish F-18s, there's some work to do (GPS, seats, mesh grill, etc). I know Wolfpack Designs makes the update for the 1/48 Hasegawa kit (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10106568), but I was wondering a couple of things: Are the new Hobby Boss Hornets modernized, or they the same generation as the Hasegawa? Same question about the new 1/72 Academy kit - is it up to production standard for the upgraded Hornet, if not is there an

A tie between the Hawker Hunter and the Mirage F1. 2 of the most elegant jets ever built.

I'm glad they're rereleasing this but this model needs more US Navy decals options. They simply do not exist in this scale. I would also kill to see an AB 212 ASW being released. Very attractive Helo, IMHO, with many countries as operators.

The academy kit is now available as a two-seat F-18d: http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/aca...aca_12422.shtml -
The lettering for "U.S. Airforce" only has a single period after the "U" and nothing after the "S". SO what we get is this: "U.S AIR FORCE" I don't think it's intentional. http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/tru...839_decals1.jpg

The Chinese manufacturers are on fire right now! I'm very excited by what lies ahead in the future. A Mirage family would be HUGE! -
