  1. I would like to see markings for the two-seat F-104D Starfighters in 1/72nd and 1/48th scales. Nobody makes markings for USAF F-104D's in camouflage (PR ANG) (479th TFW),ADC gray (Edwards), and natural metal (479th).Markings for the future Roden C-123 (SEA camo, etc.) would be great. The B-26 Marauder could also use some more decal options.
  2. Thanks for asking us for some suggestions on what subjects to do in the future. You decals are great. I just wish go back and reprint some of your older sheets as new kits come out for aircraft types featured on some out of print sheets.
  3. Was the Ki-83 painted in the Navy Green/Gray colors? or the Army Green/Gray Colors? I have the Special Hobby model kit of the Ki-83 and they recommend Japanese Navy Green/Gray for the colors. I also noticed that in color paintings in Koku-Fan/burin-do publications the Ki-83 is in navy colors. Is this correct?
  4. We do need a new tool F-101B. The 1/72 Revell/Monogram F-101B has a few faults. The upper fuselage under the cockpit's profile is a bit squashed, not the same as the 1/48 kit. The gunsight is missing. The vents on one side of the fuselage are incorrect. Also, I know modellers often like everything down and open, but F-101's usually had the flaps up when parked, and the speedbrakes closed. The J-57 engine faces, have the airflow bullets incorrectly shaped. They should be pointed and slightly bent. The slime lights should be represented as decals and not molded on the plane. The early F-101B's d
  5. Are there any external or internal differences between a Mig-25PD and a Mig-25PDS?
  6. What are the differences between a Mig-25PD and a PDS? From what I understand a Mig-25 PDS is an older Mig-25P upgraded to a Mig-25PD.
  7. I have the MPM Fairey Firefly kit. I noticed that often the landing light on the wing was covered. My references for the aircraft say that the landing light was covered to protect it from the blast of the underwing rockets. What was the color of this cover? Was it permanent or temporarely applied? I would like to know this, because the MPM kit does not have the landing light cut out. So I need to know if I should cut it out, or paint over it if it was covered most of the time. Also was the landing light covered on later Firefly variants (the Firefly Mk.IV,Mk. V, target tugs, and trainer varian
  8. The re-enforcing plates were installed during the 1968-1969 time period.
  9. I would like to know if these clear coats can safely be sprayed over acrylic finishes (even future) without any damage. Being thinned with laquer thinner concerns me.
  10. I have just recently got back into the hobby. I have a question about airbrushes. What tip do you use with hobby paints for model aircraft? The Fine or the Medium tip?
  11. The intake color looks to be an off white color. Also by the way when I attempted to take pics of the inside of the air intake of Super Hornet at an airshow, the pilot told me not to. I told him there were numerous photos in aircraft books and on the internet of the "top secret" Super Hornet intakes. If there was such concern they should have roped off the aircraft or put covers over the intakes. Later when he was occupied by the airshow fans chatting with him, I got my photos, of the intake on the other side.
  12. I have a 1/72 scale Marivox J-22 that is missing the canopy. Does anyone have a spare canopy, that they could provide to me? Sincerely, Dave
  13. By the way, on the early F-15A's you also have to add an external stiffener to the speed brake.
  14. Does anyone make 1/72 scale resin aftermarket exhaust nozzles for the Hasegawa F-18E/F? I know that Airies makes them for the F-18C/D. Would they be the same for an F-18E/F?
  15. I need a replacement set of decals for the Hasegawa 1/72 scale P1Y1 Ginga (Frances) kit CP01. Would anyone have an extra set, or know how I can get a replacement set from Hasegawa? Sincerely, Dave
