  1. From this years SAR MEET in Kiel, Germany - more pics here: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=157764
  2. Keep them coming! I found another one from Kiel-Holtenau. A bit blurry but you can see what´s what. It´s a STILL Hangar Tractor R07 with a starter (30 KVA) and a fire extinguisher.
  3. Mhm - I could do the pics (if the weather is O.K.) for a Browning M2 in 1/72...
  4. You´re absolutely right and yes it´s my fault that I´was not specific enough. I´m no expert on that field and so I thought that towbars, starters, ladders and other AGE was standardized in all NATO countries (something like "the" NATO-towbar) . But if there´s really a specific starter for each type of aircraft, I should ask for AGE from german airfields. For my Diorama I found this old Revell Ground Support Equipment Set with a hangar tractor, towbar, crane, hydraulik test stand (actually that´s named "H2987 from Sun Electric Systems"), 30KVA starter etc and with this thread I tried to
  5. This is the version the German Army should have bought. A proper Helicopter of this type needs a cannon. Looks nice in those colors!
  6. Thank you for the link. But that´s rather old stuff shown there so still I´m looking for pictures.
  7. First pics are nice! Thank you for that. @C-130CrewChief: NATO - everything from the 60´s or 70´s to now. For my diorama it will be german navy stuff but they used many parts (starter, hydraulik test stand), that was used in othe NATO-countries too.
  8. For my planned diorama i need some pics of ground equipment. No matter if you got pictures of starters, hydraulik test stands, towbars or tractors - everything would be great.
  9. Canned air should work. You could fit a small straw to reach the right places.
  10. As far as here are some mates from the UK I have this beauty for you:
  11. Well - the numberplate of my car starts with KI... :) That means we can both see the birds from the MFG 5 from our living rooms from time to time. I´m really looking forward to see your Merlin.
  12. Please forgive me - I´m no grafik-designer but I think you can guess the result.
  13. 2nd! 2nd! 2nd! 2nd! 2nd! :) Gues what I tried to fake yesterday with Photoshop!
  14. Here are the promised pics. the star of the day - shortly before take off airbrush on a Sea Lynx of the MFG 3 the whole helo a french Super Frelon cockpit of a Sea King from Belgium helicopter main transmission I´ve got some more pictures of the helicopters - if you´re interested, I´ll load them up.
  15. I´d try to get the decals from one of the two revell-kits: http://www.modellmarine.de/index.php?optio...mp;directory=56
  16. Nice thread. I´ve been there too and I´ll upload some Pics later. First here are some vids of the Sea King in this years special paint-sceme flying it´s program: taxi & start navy-diver jumping and proposal hoisting from lifeboat hoisting with rescue-diver hoisting with rescue basket
  17. Now it get´s difficult. I decided to build the main rotor in folded position but I know, that the revell-kit doesn´t support that. Are there any aftermarket parts or other kits to get a folding main rotor or is scratchbuilding my only chance? It would be great too, if someone could help me with some links to already built sea kings in 1:72, where I could see how to fold the rotor. Thank you all for your support!
  18. Astonishing work! I´m going to do a 1:72 Sea King (Mk.41) and if it turns out O.K. I´m going for the big Hasegawa and your thread definetly will be my guideline.
  19. What a beauty! I´m going to build the same kit and now I´m really looking forward to it. Can´t wait to see your bird finished!
  20. :) Wow! So many tips - thank you very much. I think this flightpath-set is worth a try to get the fire extinguisher and some tow-bars: http://www.djparkins.clara.net/fltpath/fp7...diorama_set.htm But some of the other suggestions are close too.
  21. Hi, after some years I try to start again with building a kit and I already found a projekt I´d like to do. It will be a German Navy Sea King (Mk. 41) in 1:72. Now I´m doing some research on it. Can someone tell me if some of the ground equipment shown in the linked photo is available in 1:72? The "box" on the right should be something to warm up air to dry the helo after flight and the left one seems to be a power unit. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Germany---N...amp;photo_nr=72 I also search this fire extinguisher shown in this pic. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Germany---N...amp;p
  22. You can also find the right color-sceme at www.jpsmodell.de http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/draw/n87mk41.jpg RAL 7009 = Revell 67 RAL 7012 = Revell 77 RAL 7021 = Revell 9 RAL 7023 = Revell 75 (not exactly but close)
