No heat dissipators on the large exhausts of those Hinds? The Mi-8 has them but the Hinds don't. Any reason for this?
AFAIK they impact performance.
Presumably in the hot Syrian climate the Hinds need all the oomph they can get.

Can you tell me is it an A or C and what unit/squadron is it?
F-15A (Peace Fox II), 133 Squadron (Hatzerim AB).

Indeed I noticed it Andre that quality is down the drain. my understanding is that quality should go up again, as production of the paints is back in the United Kingdom. Having bought Humbrol 226 it is translucent so more coats of paint before you are happy. But with current problems of Model Master Paints not being in the stores and having old humbrol paints I go for 120.
Alas - even the current "Made in Britain" Humbrol tins are shockingly bad.
Luckily my LHS has begun to stock Gunze half a year ago...

What is the best Green for Mirage III IAF markings? I visited Wings Pallete for the colours and it states that FS 34258 is correct.
FS 34258 was only used on Syhawks, AFAIK, as delivered by McDonnell Douglas.
Mirages used FS 34227, which does translate to Humbrol 120. When repainted in Israel, Skyhawks received the standard FS 34227 as well.
OTOH, you could also use a brand whose quality hasn't gone totally down the drain in recent years, like the once great Humbrol... Xtracolor X148 or Gunze H312 would be my preferred option.

I can say more - bottle of vodka in alkoshop not so far my home cost a half of price, than same bottle in any shop in Europe (i suppose in the USA prise is higher, than in Eurorpe). So, it is not fair prices for any product. :cheers:/>/>
Then again, here in the Netherlands Heineken is generally considered cheap swill you only drink when there's no proper beer around. ;-)

Who use the ducknose other than the Swiss, Malasian, US Navy Agressors???
Republic of China and South Korea, for starters - and Austria, if you want to be pedantic, since they leased a number of Swiss F-5E's as a stopgap between the Draken and the Eurofighter.

It'll also be interesting to see if the plastic itself is modified to reflect the changes to the later two-seaters. When Italeri reissued the F-5E several years back they revised the tooling to include both LERX and nose changes that were applicable for the Swiss Tiger of the kit's markings. It was a permanent tooling change, meaning the original E boxings are all you'll see of the roundnose/small LERX kits. If the same holds true here the early F boxings may now be even more rare.
By the look of it, she now has the enlarged LERXs as per the F-5E Swiss Tiger changes:

SHAR F/A.2's were fitted with AN/ALE-40 aft of the airbrake, AFAIK.
Over Bosnia, AIM-9's, AIM-120's and 1000 lb pig iron were common loads.

It first came out in the mid-90's. Apart from a too short nose which can be fixed with a plug aft of the radome, it's quite accurate. Detailingswise it's not up to Zvezda's current standards, though - panel lines are raised, molding is a bit crude and the cockpit is spartan at best.
However, it can be turned into this:

Now now. Let's not be heartless, just because he's goofy. he's still a fellow man.
He was cool as maverick, and probably did enough to fill the ranks of the USN in the 80s and early 90s, that they may someday name a ship for him. :lol:/>
Also: Magnolia.

There's an old Superscale set with these markings as well - full Norm 72 splinter, white GA tailcodes and US style serial / full color star 'n'bars.

Not military but ELO's Calling America mentions the 747...
Conversely, Creedence's "Travellin' Band" features the 737..

Off the top of my head the Christmas song "Run Run Rudolph" refers to the Sabre jet.
When Keith Richards did
in 1978, he updated it to a Phantom jet.Guy obviously knows his jets. ;)

Perhaps the spare OV-10A hump out of Academy's OV-10D kit can be used as a basis?

Wait for Airfix to release a Meteor F.4. :whistle:/>
Or get an MPM F.4 (or its RoG rebox).

You have to admit the USAF would never authorize anything like these
Let alone the Dutch 323 Squadron "Dirty Diana" liveries... ;)

If I remember well, the Phantoms from the Turckish AFB, were USAF F-4Es, they might be the aircraft used the maverics...
F-4E's from the 3rd TFW, from Incirlik. No records of AGM-65 use, though.
