Are we NEVER going to see a new-tool B-1B Lancer in 1/72???
Andre replied to f4h1phantom's topic in Jet Modeling
I imagine the sorry state of my wallet. :) Cheers, Andre -
You don't state the scale you're building in, but the larger fairings on the side of the intake are in RoG's 1/72nd F-16 kit. Cheers, Andre

I'm sure plenty of people here would gladly take it off your hands. :) Cheers, Andre

Looking for 1/72 HTS Pod for F-16
Andre replied to Hoops's topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
Got you covered - drop me a line at a dot vanderhoek at home dot nl. Hase's 1/72nd HTS is indeed pretty underscale, but just about right for a Pave Penny. Cheers, Andre -
Lovely, lovely. Cheers, Andre

You mean...country *and* western? :) Cheers, Andre

Airfix's tanks are too straight to my eyes, the real thing was rather 'bulged' all over while the kit items have a too straight center section. I can't say much about the Alley Cat tank - I will replace mine with spare Fujimi ones. The Argentine Skyhawks used the 300 gallon Aero 1D. For more on the Aero series, see the excellent Tailhook topics site. HTH, Andre

Ah, just in time for my birthday then. :) Cheers, Andre

Indeed. See also the Bellingcat research into the Russian soldiers connected to the MH17 shootdown, which used a lot of data posted on social media. We live in interesting times. Cheers, Andre

Yes, fallacies are quite fascinating from a psychological point of view. We all have our mental defence mechanisms. Pointing out a fallacy is not "riding a person hard", in my opinion - at least, I do not intend it to be. Cheers, Andre

Go Gunze. Lovely stuff. Cheers, Andre

No. This kit was announced as a Variant. Not as a Neue Form. Andre

That does look tasty. Hopefully it will hit the shops in Ye Olde Europe soon. Cheers, Andre

Quatar also ordered 25 may '15. Cheers, Andre

No true Scotsman fallacy. Cheers, Andre

Yes, they absolutely do. Cheers, Andre

Both are reboxed ICM molds, albeit at a much lower price than the Ukrainian originals in Ye Olde Europe. Cheers, Andre

A choice of subject that reveals an excellent and refined taste. ;) Will you be using the Daco sheet? Cheers, Andre

"New tool" for RoG denotes an entirely new tool, not a new variation on a previous tooling with new parts added. Cheers, Andre

Somewhere down here you can find a quick blurb I wrote back in the ol' Usenet days: http://www.foundcollection.com/18_1aaacdbfc5fe25b0_1.htm Cheers, Andre

Hey Mike, most RoG boxings do indeed feature more than one gun blast panel part. Drop me a line at a dot vanderhoek at home dot nl and I'll send you one of my spare ones. Cheers, Andre

Academy decals can also benefit from dragging them through Future. HTH, Andre

Hasegawa's standard 1/72nd A-10A boxing comes with Eielson markings: http://up.picr.de/18173314zm.jpg HTH, Andre

Dragan, would a pair of unslatted RoG outer wing panels help? They do have recessed panel lines, while the Italeri kit has them raised... Cheers, Andre
