  1. try adding a pinch of blue paint to your white. it will stay white and it looks erm... a beautiful white.
  2. You could find them in stationary stores under the brand of Faber Castell and UHU. UHU is called tac patafix, indeed yellow but the same thing. I forgot the name of Faber Castell but it is some sort of blue/green color as far I remember. good luck!
  3. I was sure you would recover from there Andy! now, finish it B)
  4. thanks a lot for the fast deal
  5. the best I think. very clean bonding with that one.
  6. indeed it does not matter what the compressor is, it looks like a standard compressor with 1/4" fittings. I think you will attach your water trap first and then your hose (I mean your airbrush's hose ) could you tell me what brand is your airbrush? and what are the fittings at each end of the hose? maybe you could purchase an adapter to convert it to standard compressor fitting or you can purchase a new hose that fits airbrush on one end, to the compressor on the other hand. let me explain this way. the hose below has the badger fitting on one side (1/8 as far I know), standard 1/4 fitting
  7. I advise a Badger 100G or 100LG. also consider paasche VJR. both are gravity feed, fixed color up, you can work with small amounts of paint, easy to clean. I would go for Badger, as you can use your existing hose etc. hth.
  8. the only thing to have control over the pressure is to attach an airtank to your diagram compressor via a check-valve and fill it. attach a pressure regulator to your tank, there you go. pressure inside the tank must be higher than the setting on your regulator, so you can control the air pressure. you can not attach the regulator directly to your comp, it won't work. I advise you make this conversion to your existing comp, or go for a new one with tank. hth.
  9. it seems you have not stirred the paint in the tin enough. if your mixture is too thin and light in shade, probably you have transferred the carrying agent mostly but not the pigments to your mix. stir well, try thinning with either its thinner, white spirit or lacquer (cellulose) thinner by 1 to 1 paint to thinner ratio. hth!
  10. also consider the availability and cost of spare parts to keep your airbrush running. as far I know Iwata parts are more expensive than any other airbrushes. If you really want to stick to your these 3 choices, I'd say Iwata. But do not forget Badger. I would advise a Badger 100G or 100LG, for all of your modelling needs. I would even advise a 200G, a single action but a good and easy to use fine airbrush imho.

I beg your pardon, but the part of the intake inside the fuselage looks like flesh meat and disgusting (bottom half of the first photo) however, it is beautiful when you look from the outside
  12. Klir dries completely clear and shiny. interesting stuff!
