  1. Both of these kick so much butt!
  2. Here's my 1/48 Hasegawa Tomcat with Furball Decals and True Details ejection seats. If anyone notices anything that I might need to fix feel free to point it out and make fun of me for it. -Xavi
  3. I think it looks awesome! keep it as it is.
  4. I just googled "VF-84 F-14" and came up with s a good example how weathered they could get. VF-84 Tomcat As far as the Hobby Boss kit, I haven't messed with it. There was a thread on another forum that discussed the shape issues on the HB tail so you might have to modify the stripes that go on the rudder for the VF-142 bird. You should be ok with the Jolly Roger since it doesn't really go anywhere near the edges.
  5. Here you go Jakob! I don't mean to hijack you thread so I'll only post one pic (albeit not a very good one from my i-phone)
  6. That is an awesome man cave set up, Jakob. I'm currently in the decaling stage of my F-14 using the VF-114 markings from that sheet and they are hands down the best decals I've ever used. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this project. Good luck!
  7. I say we donate the winnings to a VA organization or the USO or something like that.
  8. I've been looking for same thing for years and have turned up empty.
  9. You guys have no idea how proud I am of everyone that contributed to this build. Each and everyone of you guys rocks! It's been an honor to be a part of this project.
  10. Star wars on its own...maybe...Star Trek/wars...DEFINITELY!!!
  11. I say go for what ever load out is most common.
  12. I heard that! But what can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment. If you think this a tough build try building a Czech Model T-34C. You'll wish it was another T-2.
  13. This almost makes me forget all of the trouble I had with my last Buckeye and want to start another one in TW-2 markings.
  14. I've been playing for over a year and it has ruined my life. It's great! Add me xaronperez
  15. I use krylon plastic primer. You get twice as much for half the price.
  16. When a group of people build around a theme. For example the Grumman Iron Works Group build is where we only build aircraft that were build by Grumman. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showforum=275
  17. Whoa! this looks great! It's awesome to see how the decals really bring it to life. I can't wait to see it done.
  18. Try spraying it with windex and let it set for a while, then scrub it with the rough side of a kitchen sponge. Or you could use a 600 grit sand paper and just sand it off then use a higher grit to smooth every thing out.
  19. What kind of paint did you use and what do you want to get it off of?
  20. If you are just starting out I highly recommend using a paint brush.
  21. Here is a review I found using google. The seem to be pretty cool little kits and with a little help from an awesome aunt such as yourself I'm sure your nephew will love it! http://carsthetoys.yuku.com/topic/20724/ZVEZDA-Disney-Planes#.UoPhupETFuY Here's a video I found on youtube as well. Hope this helps -Xavi
