Helllo Scott
Well.... on my side not many positive comments. Among others:
I have tried to assemble one but I could not complete, maybe my fault and I will try again on another one because I reallly like this HC
Plastic is very soft and getting the part off the sprues must be done veeeeery carefully
You must basically dry fit all the parts as the assembly is very complex with many parts without real positive attachment points
One misalignment on one assembly causes some troubles for the rest of the building. You have to make your own assessment of the assembly sequencing. Heving the experience from my first failure I would do it very differently
The kit is designed to have all the openings...opened. (cockpit, cabin doors...), my biggest issue was the cockpit doors (if you want like me to have them closed.
The cockpit seat must be moved to be in the proper position;
All of those remarks may not be very positive however could be partly my fault (a friend of mine faced the same kind of issues). I am very grateful to Kittyhawk for taking the risk to issue such a model in any case and will for sure try to build another one.
It is a pity that no aftermarket is available (even from French companies)
In a few words take your time, relax and enjoy
Hope this does not discourage you, I enjoyed it and will enjoy again
Here under some links on my modeling club website 'in French) where you can find some intermediate steps from my friend build:

Hey, Steve, John, thanks, guys! Yeah, MFAF, this will be an indispensable modeling tool. Froggy, thanks, I got the magnets from below.
I also saw some 1mm x 0.5mm (1mm wide, 0.5mm thick) -- so you wouldn't have to drill a hole so deep -- but I'm not sure if you lose some strength using those. Even the magnets that I got are not super-strong but they'll do for light stuff. Per bomb you'll need 4 magnets --- 2 on the bomb + 2 swaybars. I'd say they're good for stationary displays but they won't stand up to shaking -- your MK-82s will shed like autumn leaves. 'So I'm still thinking about going back to wires -- if I could devise something that can really stand rough handling.
Hello
Thanks for the repky 👍

This time I also tried mini magnet to enjoy more weapon configuration in the future.
The Su-35S is a multi role fighter so most adaptors have same install structure to fit any missile pylons.
Another reason is that I'd lik to enjoy the well researchd and fine details on belly, especially on central pylon mounting points.
In order to assur enough holding strength, I added 4 magnetc per pylon.
There is no need to add magnets on weapons since almost every Russian missile has its own pylon so you cannot exchange different missiles on different pylons.
And you can make your weapon configuration freely at any time going forward!
Wow impressive work, thanks for all your tips !
It may have already been mentioned in the forum but where can we get such small magnets?
Best regards

I am starting the same kit and I am very interested in the details you've added in the cockpit especially the rails for the helmet! Do you have any detailed pictures of those (and the cockpit) as I am struggling to find some on internet ?

Unbelievable :blink:/> They want $55 to ship one decal sheet to Thailand. No decals for me :(/>
Same for me for shipping to Europe. I know it is not there fault but still, I think the US retailers will lose some overseas customers! That is sad !

I saw this scheme few days ago at Zvezda TV chanel news, and actually i'm think about add this aircraft to our Su-24 marking decals, but we have a lot of already printed decals at our warehouse, so if it will be make - it wil be not so soon.
Talking about this, I saw that you've issued some stencils for the Su-24 but I can't find them. Do you know from whom I can source them from?

If you go to the MPM models website they have their Praha addresses listed. They recently had 50% off Eduard kits (for online purchases, which I missed out on), and some other promotions going on in store. I missed out on those as well, but their retail prices are excellent.
Thanks for the information !!

Wow!
I will go in Prague beg. September. Do you have some interesting addresses to buy kits there?
