The decals went on pretty good actually. I did encounter a few bubbles, but given the size of the decals, anyone is bound to get a few bubbles. Nothing disastrous though... just poked the bubble and put some Solvaset and it was fixed. The decals were printed by Cartograf and I think these are improved versions because they went on much better. I did a VF-154 bird from the History kit awhile back and those Cartograf decals were kind of "stiff" and I had to use a LOT of Solvaset to get them down. Believe it or not, this is my first EVER finished legacy Hornet regardless of any scale... 144, 72, 48, 32, 1/1. I've tried them before but I just seemed to always fail. Did it with the DML 144s, Hase 72s, even bought a 32 Acad Hornet once... just couldn't do it. Done Super Hornets, but just no legacy Hornets. Therefore, I'm very happy to really complete this one.
