Hi everyone, I purchased a decal set for a 1/32 Wingnut model which was creased in transit, I want to get in contact with them to see if they can be used or just binned because of crease across them. Does anyone have a contact email for HGW Decals other than their 'info' contact as they don't seem to be responding. Cheers

The F-111F 'Lakenheath' decal set from Afterburner Decals has some great side views of aircraft from this operation and from service in Iraq. It also has a sheet on 'load outs' etc. for those operations. I'm not sure if the sheets came in both 1/72 and 1/48 as I bought a 1/48 set in thinking Hobbyboss were going to release the F-111F which never happened Cheers

Just an update I have found this article on line recently. http://www.newvision.co.ug/news/659767-1976-entebbe-raid-ex-intelligence-chief-dies.html Although in black and white and if you compare to the yellow shade in the Uganda roundel the Bort numbers on the two seaters look darker than yellow in the roundel on fins of both examples and if you blow up photo of the burnt out single seater from underneath the bort number is very pale in colour. Assuming the photos are taken at the same time. Now perhaps the single seaters had a different colour Bort numbers to the twin seaters . Cheers

I know its a long shot but does AMK Hobby sell spare part sets for lost or damaged items like some other firms. Has anyone tried or had any success in doing so from this firm??? Cheers

Russian aircraft in export schemes is my thing I've seen a lot of Mig-21 cockpit photos, reference cards and photos on the net. I have seen more than one colour from 1970 exactly as described above. Maybe the majority are the Green/Blue but plenty of others too, maybe it is a colour change after upgrades or overhaul who know but there is evidence of different colours and yes I have seen some floro green ones as well but some of the green ones have chipped up to show the blue/green underneath in places.

Does any one know is the plug for the EA which extends the front of the fin (for that version) the same dimensions as on the Mirage F-1 models vertical fin for Iraq and Libya????? If so I want to graft onto an F-1 ( im lazy) :) Cheers Jeff
