  1. Thanks guys! I picked it up at Hobby Lobby w/the 40% off coupon myself. I really enjoyed the kit and am really happy with the finished project. It has some issues but if I can overcome them, anyone can. I hadn't built anything with wings in 20 + years. For someone who is experienced with cleaning up fuselage seams, I wouldn't expect it to be too serious of a challenge. I enjoyed it so well that I picked up the Corporal missile today and am going to try to find the $50+ for the new Mace/Teracruzer reissue. Rob
  2. I wasn't sure whether this fit in the Jet or Space sections so I'll try here. This is the new reissue of the old 1958 Snark missile. The molding was actually not bad for it's age. The base had a bit of a warp to it but I can live with it. There are some unbelievable spots where the plastic is injected in the mold for each fuselage half as well as the wing section. There are raised areas to mark where the decals go along with lots of raised rivet detail. Those rivets were my initial concern. I couldn't decide how to handle sanding the fuselage halves and not lose the details. My solutio
  3. Thanks! I'll see if it is online somewhere. Rob
  4. I appreciate the replies. I saw Mike's builds before I posted and so far they are the most helpful I have found to at least get an idea and have an excellent build to go by. I'm going to keep searching but I'm sure I will use his builds as my main guide. I would like to use either the Indycal or Tango Papa decals instead of the kit sheet. Maybe by the time I get to work on it in the Spring or Summer, I will have a chance to get one fo them. Thanks! Rob
  5. I picked this kit up today and am very excited to build it. However, I din't realize there were no painting instructions. I have searched the web and come up with nothing. I have found some great posts on here but not the info on specific painting. Does anyone know of a guide anywhere on the web? Thanks! Rob

I'd like to share my first armor build. I know it's not perfect and not 100% correct but it was a practice build for future builds. I have a couple of Stryker kits and wanted to get a feel for building armor before I started them. The "Never Too Old To Rock" logo is a Homer Simpson Tshirt logo I printed on clear decal film. I'll appreciate any comments, positive or negative. Rob
  8. Hey, I hate to jump in here off topic but I sent you a message about the AFV Stryker you listed as make an offer and hadn't heard back. Did you get my offer? Or is the kit gone? Thanks! Rob
