  2. Interested in the QF-4. A couple of questions. What makes the kit different from a regular F-4N, and what would shipping be to zip 28104? Thanks, JR
  3. Thanks, all. Kit has been located and purchased. Appreciate the offers. JR
  4. Do you know what the kit number is and how much you would want, shipped to Matthews, NC 28104?
  5. Looking for any Testors or Italeri 1/48 boxing of an RF-4. B,C, or F is fine. Decals are not necessary.
  6. Hoping someone has the F-105B nose from the Falcon Triple Conversion they are willing to part with. Could also make do with the C&H Aero F-105B conversion. TIA JR
  7. Dutch,

I was searching for a Falcon1/48  F-105B conversion and saw your post from earlier that you had one.  Do you still have it and are you willing to sell it.  You can also e-mail me at jrobinsonusaf@aol.com.

  8. I'd like to find a Westland Wessex HAR.2 conversion by Rotorcraft. I think this item is out of production. I'd like to do this without having to take out a second mortgage on my house. Anybody have one they are willing to part with? Thanks, JR
  9. To be honest, I do not know. The C model had an upgraded radar system to make it a better all weather fighter, but aside from the wheels, I personally do not know of any significant external differences. I'm sure there are others on deck who would know more, and there are some excellent books on the F-15 that would assist you. Here's my model, completed except for the AIM-9s. Joel
  10. Thanks all. I went the full stencil route. Took me four days, two sessions each day to do them all. Whitey, I have some spare honeycomb NO STEP stencils left over. I use Microscale data sheet and it had enough stencils to do about 1 1/2 aircraft. I guess they knew some of the decals would get messed up in the process. Anyway, if you want the NO STEP stencils, let me know. Joel
  11. I am building an early F-15A in the Air Superiority Blue paint scheme. My question is - did these early aircraft carry a full complement of data stencils. I know later models were slathered with the honeycomb and no step markings all over, but I'm not sure about this one. Thanks, JR
  12. Not sure, but almost all Air Force equipment, including vehicles, that was painted blue up through the 70's was done in Strata Blue. Don't know if this applied to aircraft as well, but I found a source for Strat Blue in a rattle can. Unfortunately, the oldest T.O. 1-1-4 I have is from 1964 and it does not reference either the FS number or an illustration referencing it. Hope this helps. https://quartertonparts.com/product/25045-strata-blue-spray-paint/
  13. Does anyone have a set of the XH903 underwing codes for the Airfix 1/48 Javelin? I am too embarrassed to say how I messed these up, but I need replacements. Thanks, JR
  14. Box, decals, pylons, tanks and bombs and instructions not important. I need a pre "Thunderstick II" version. I only have a couple of kits available as trade bait, but I have a whole lot of decals and some random aftermarket stuff. Here's some of the stuff:Monogram 1/48 UH-1 Huey Hog Gunship (bagged)Lindberg 1/48 P-6E HawkEduard JX080 Mask for Hasegawa 1/32 P-40EEduard EX041 Mask for Hasegawa 1/48 SH-3/S-61Vector 32-004 fixed Browning M2 machine guns (6 in package)Airwaves 48025 1/48 Dornier Do-17Z detail setPavla 48026 1/48 Stencel S-III-S ejection seatQuickboost 48 756 1/48 Defiant Mk.I gun
  15. Looking for a spare fuselage for a 1/48 Sea King. Version not important, only need the main fuselage halves and windows if available. Thanks, JR
  16. Looks like they shut them down but not before they "sold" 4 1/48 MPM He-177s. I filed a complaint, got a refund, and learned a valuable life lesson.
  17. Beware of someone selling a 1/48 He-177 out of China with a damaged box. He has stolen the pic and description from an older legitimate auction, and sold it twice since. After each sale, he closes his account and reopens a new one and relists the same kit using the same picture and description. JR
  18. Anybody have one they might be willing to turn loose for a reasonable sum? Only need the basic kit, decals are not needed. Thanks, JR
  19. I may have one showing up in the next couple of days. Hold off for now, and I'll get back with you. Thanks, Joel
  20. I am looking for the 75mm cannon assembly from the ESCI 1/48 Hs-129 kit. This is the cannon for the B-3 version. Does anyone have one laying around in the spares box? Thanks, JR
  21. 1066, Sorry it took so long to get back. I worked out a trade with a gentleman for one of the kits on my list. Thanks for the offer. Joel
  22. Either the Matchbox or Revell reissue. I am doing a project on the SOE with my granddaughter. Thanks, JR
