I am looking for the decals from the Monogram/Revell 1/48 Ju-87G Stuka with the 37mm guns. Please let me know if anyone can help. I do have a fair amount of trade bait and am willing to pay a reasonable price. JR

Looking for the main rotor blades from any 1/48 H-34 kit. I'm hoping someone out there has a hangar queen we can work out a deal on. Thanks, JR

The Turks had a plant outside Ankara in the early 90s where they built F-16s. It was not outsourcing our birds, just building them for the Turkish AF.

Looking for info on the Snark missile transporter
JRobinsonUSAF replied to JRobinsonUSAF's topic in Jet Modeling
That launch image is one of the most convincing shots I have seen that shows that these were probably diamond tread plate. Thanks, JR -
I have Googled this until my eyes bled and cannot find the info I need. Does anyone know if the walkways on the sides of the Snark transport trailer were solid diamond plate, expanded mesh, or solid metal with antiskid coating? The ones in the Lindberg kit are pretty lame and I'd like to spruce them up a little if I can find out what material to use. Thanks, JR

Worked out a swap that was beneficial to both of us, his communications were great and the kit arrived exactly when he said it would. Thanks!

Which boxing is the Hasegawa A-7D? -
Well, I got a great deal on a Monogram F-100 at an IPMS show. The only problem is, the kit is missing part 5 - the early style afterburner can. This kit has two cans, one early style, one late style, The late (F-102) style part is in the box, but the early style can is missing. Since I will be building Thunderbirds F-100, I need the early one - of course. Does anyone have an extra early style can - part #5 that I could get, possibly in exchange for the one I do have? Or possibly the Legends resin item? Thanks, Joel

When did ESCI cease producing kits under the ESCI/Scalecraft label, and when did Hasbro Canada cease marketing those kits? Thanks, JR

Model Master Camouflage Grey Enamel Discontinued
JRobinsonUSAF replied to Drifterdon's topic in General Discussion
I remember from waaay back in the pre Model Master days, camo grey was made by taking a square bottle of flat white, and adding nine drops of flat black and three drops of flat yellow. From what I remember, it looked pretty good. JR -
Lowes and Home Depot sell appliance paint in gloss black and white. I used the white to paint a 1/1 motorcycle a few years back, and that was some very tough pant. They list it as an "epoxy" paint, even though it is in a rattle can. HTH

LF - 1/48 Su-22 vertical stab part
JRobinsonUSAF replied to JRobinsonUSAF's topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
Just the two parts that comprise the leading edge of the stabilizer, just above where it meets the fuselage. JR -
Looking for the parts that make up the leading edge of the vertical stab on a 1/48 Su-22M3 - the parts without the scoop modeled into them (that's for the M4. These were "not used" parts - parts number 44A and 45A in some of the Su-22M4 releases. The Eduard kit does have these parts, and possibly some others (KP, Kopro, OEZ, Smer). If anyone can help. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, JR
