How can you talk about greatest fighter A/C ever, and not even bring the F-16 into it? The Israeli record speaks for itself. Then again, so does their F-15 experience. The majority of those discovery channel shows are a bit of a giggle. The best documentaries I have ever seen have mostly been BBC productions. There was a doco. a few years back that went with E-2, FA-18, EA-6 and F-14 pilots out on southern watch patrols. Great footage of F-14s low and fast trying to get rid of SAM paints, and after footage of both Hornet and Tomcat guys reporting control issues to plane captains. What's bes

I'm guessing the F-14s aren't allowed inverted flight because of something to do with the TF30s in the As, and compressor stalls at interesting AoA? Great shots, nevertheless- cheers S1!

That all sounds very giggle worthy to me! As Im doing Immelmans etc now in a Decathlon, the idea of having blowers going gives me a deadset horn hehehe

Does anyone out there actually like aircraft because they want to fly them, or is it because they just wanna blow stuff up?! Jan... that is pretty far-ken hilarious! That is nearly as bad as me thinking about the following for my car's numberplate: MYF-14D I came very close last registration.... heheheh

Yep, Blu Tac rocks! On my F-15D I used long thin Blu Tac snakes to mark out the camo areas, and tore plastic bags up to cover other areas, just softly pushing the bags onto the tac to hold it. I marked out an area just a slightly larger than what was needed. Sprayed the Light GG first, and re-applied the blu tac to get my proper camo line sorted. Then when I painted the Dark GG, it actually overlapped over the top of some of the Light GG, giving it a more solid look, and actually making the center of the painted area look faded, while the blu tac gave a soft demarcation! It's GREAT!
