  1. I know this again will immediately led to another shoot-storm since we had this discussion already before, but so far Stratospheremodels never provided any image of any of his build and painted models. Only CG's and the images of unassembled parts/kits ...
  2. Sorry to nit-pick - or maybe I'm wrong - but as far as I know the F-14 was never wired to use the latest AIM-9X (first image) ... and also not these older types ... (second and fourth) types. :unsure:/> So IMO only the third image is an option for the Tomcat; or am I wrong ? Deino
  3. What about a nice blue bird from the Kazahk Air Force ? http://bmpd.livejournal.com/1926790.html
  4. The ironic thing IMO is that so far we only have Seen these Nice cgs since years ... And Never any Real thing. Maybe there is simply nothing Real to show?
  5. I'm sure You will find my post again provocative or even annonying ... but like others here requested too: We want to see the real thing, parts in reality on no longer any of these - surely, that has to be admitted - nice CG's !! And honestly ... I really can't understand how one, who want to sell someting can so long ignore such posts ?? Show us the rael parts, show us them build up and mounted on a kit ... but IMO CG's are annoying. Deino
  6. Regarding the twin-seater versions I think HB will release them all ... the standard Chinese BS, a Russian UB/UBK ... and since a J-16 is also already announced a MKK should not be far away.
  7. If You look right at the image before, there's one build in the background: http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/Ausstellungen/Nuernberg2016/Bilder_AT/AF1models_Fertigmodelle_03.htm Deino PS: here too: http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/Ausstellungen/Nuernberg2016/Bilder_AT/AF1models_Fertigmodelle_02.htm
  8. Not really the Su-33 but its Chinese offspring, the J-15 during recent trails ...
  9. Yes ... but this one is even better ! http://imgur.com/2fKgGH1
  10. Oh THANKs... to admit that's even more likely, since the 32. Division was established quite late, so I was already wondering, why they should have a batch 02 aircraft. Deino
  11. Hi ... and no need to apologise. You men the seria of 10320 ?? ... it is '0121', since this is a batch 01 aircraft AL-31F. Maybe these images could help You https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4fbrzf0dr2nq52p/AAA6Rmgxm27LFO-xq32OI2cHa?dl=0 Regarding J-11B 40636 - an aircraft from the 32. FD - I don't know for sure, but it looks like '0205' or '0209'. added it to he link above. Deino
  12. To admit the true colour I don't know but in general You are correct, all PLAAF-Flankers have the same colour ... as standard. However if You compare individual aircraft - here for example older J-11A, they are in fact very much different: Several older ones - like the ones from the 2. Div (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yCMgc1t3bB0/VHkbPPFz2nI/AAAAAAAAJuY/ylXIQGMmJpI/s1600/J-11_MAWS.jpg) - have an already faded grey, whereas factory fresh ones - esp. the ones from the 33. Div (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rbV-f-0Lllg/VLIsk-MfKBI/AAAAAAAAKDs/zGkPr5Y6mg4/s1600/J-11_GoldenHelmet.jpg) with the new "33"
  13. Yes, that's one of the original batch delivered to the 3. Division (all have 11x4x-serials) ... if You take the first and fourth digit and subtract 11 (here: 14-11 = 3), is the number of the Division; the two xx-numbers are the aircraft's individual number within that Division. via Huitong: Code S/N Code S/N Code S/N Code S/N 01 11041 59% 20599 05# 69065 01$ 81041 02 11042 61 20691 08 69068 02 81042 03 11043 62 20692 09 69069 03 81043 04 11044 63 20693 10 69160 04 81044 05 11045 64 20694 12 69162 05 81045 07 11047 66 20696 14 69164 06
  14. You just have to scroll down ... just behind the J-11B/BS, the list of MKKs follows.
  15. Thanks .. maybe also interesting, the latest Chinese Flaker: the J-11D ! https://scontent-fra3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t31.0-8/s720x720/12232864_10205558004126025_8012389441753531113_o.jpg http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?125099-Chinese-Air-Power-Thread-17&p=2272031#post2272031 Deino
  16. Hi Snicks ... what Markus said is completely correct, however this latest PL-12 image is some sort or a mystery, since also the PL-12's training rounds are blue. Maybe two final adds: 1. the PLAAF uses a bright yellow-orange for the five-digit serials whereas the PLANAF has much smaller black ones. Here's a fine collection of different individual aircraft made by "Huitong": http://chinese-military-aviation.blogspot.de/p/gallery-i.html Here's Your "24" from the P-8 ebcounter ... http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T4vRPnI4NWo/U_iPjYgvZLI/AAAAAAAAI6Y/jTb-ugUzub4/s1600/J-11BH_24a.jpg ... it will als
  17. Seems as if Trumpeter has its revised kit of the J-20 '201x'-preserials finished Deino
  18. Ohhh ... I see also a J-15 on the horizon !
  19. Really impressive ! by the way with now the 7. J-20 being rolled out (no. '2016') ... is the revised prototype already available from Trumpeter ? Deino
  20. Thanks ... and to have the family comparison complete, You only need to add the Chinese Hongdu L-15/JL-10 - also a development based on the same design - however with even more changes. Deino
  21. No pilot !! So this kit will be unbuildable similar to the GWH's F-15 ! Sorry, couldn't resist. Deino
  22. Maybe I missed it ... but will there ever be a chance to get this kit as a regular kit and not by this crusade of purchasing several magazines ?? Deino
  23. Interesting ... Thanks for posting ! However You have to remind that by now all PLANAF-J-7s are retired. All aircrafts with 83x4x-serials are from the 4. Naval Division (12. Reg.) were replaced by J-10AH / SH. All aircrafts with 83x8x-serials - second link, second image - are from the 8. Naval Division (24. Reg.) were replaced by J-11BH / BSH. Deino
  24. Nice ... impressive !!! But the real ones are even better even if the images so far are only magazine-scans .... http://china-defense.blogspot.de/2015/04/photos-of-day-j-15-pilot-training-in.html
  25. Thanks Ken ... sorry, but I did not notice the other tread ! Regarding the J-15S ... sadly nothing ! ... but I will tell You when I get some news. Cheers, Deino
