Does anyone have any constructive advice on how to deal with the seam inside the engine halves parts O12 and O17? I know its in a ways from the nozzle ends but it will be visible if you look inside, you can see it on pictures of built kit on line. I have a piece of aluminum tubing that fits perfectly inside the two halves but that would eliminate the "ribbed" effect.

As indicated in the title I want to trade a Trumpeter F-100D (kit # 1649) for a Trumpeter F-100C. My kit is open but all factory bags are still sealed. I’m in PA. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks Ed B

I am looking for some dimensions off of the EA-1F Skyraider on display at the PIMA Museum. They have to do with the APS-31 radome and AN/APS trailing antenna. The specific dimensions can be obtained from ground level so I do not think you would need any special permission to take the measurements. If you would be interested in helping please let me know and I will give you sketches of the specific items and all you will need to do is fill in the measurement. Thanks.

I believe the current distributor for OZ Mods in the US is Starfighter Decals in VA. www.starfighter-decals.com. I do not know if they have the weapons sets but you can ask Mark he is very helpful.

This is available in decal form on ESCI sheet #83 for the A-1 Skyraider. The white circle is 5/16" (.312) diameter. If this works for you let me know I may have an extra. Ed B

Would an Fw190A-1 have the raised gun blisters on the top of the wing next to the fuselage? I know they are on the bottom of the wing outside of the L/G but I’m unsure of what is on the top. Thanks for any help.

I have the AZ issued of the DC-9 and want to build a Navy C-9B using Draw Decals. I would appreciate any input on building the kit or if any conversion needs to be incorporated to make it a C-9B. Thanks

I assume if a Wessex HAS.1 had the “RESCUE†markings on the fuselage that the ASW radar equipment was removed from the main cabin and replaced by a few seats and area for a stretcher lift basket. Is that a correct assumption?

I was at the Cavanaugh air Museum a few months back and got a picture of this but because of accessibility and the angle I can not make out exactly what it says. The left side was easily accessible but it did not have the cover in place at that time. I’ve been to the various walk around sites and googled but didn’t come up with this specific shot, any help would be appreciated. Ed B

I have a copy of the AIR Classics issue, from December 1974, which has this image on the cover but there is no additional information or data regarding the specific picture or if other airframes carried the same marking. There are plenty images with just the black spade on the fuselage but I have not found any with the playing card. These markings were also shown in Squadron Signal’s USN Aircraft Carrier Air Units series, in the color plates section but

I am working on converting the Italeri Wessex HAS.3 to an HAS.1. Does anyone have information regarding the configuration of the radar equipment in the main cabin? I have the Cobra company HAS.3 set and want to know what the difference would be between the 1 and the 3 (besides 2 - LOL) configuration. Appreciate any help or guidance. Thanks.

With the Skyraiders becoming available for pre-order I am considering placing an order for one. I have been to the ZM site and read the FAQ about ordering from Volks USA (I’m in the USA) and ZM direct. Based on the advertised prices it appears to be far more economical to buy from Volks USA. I have some questions for those who have ordered ZM products and the differences they experienced. What was the approximate difference between the time those who ordered direct and those who ordered from Volks received their kits? What was the shipping fee applied by ZM direct vs. Volks USA? Did customs
