  1. And what about this strange plane being kidnapped by an UFO ? And a zoomed view
  2. It's not an easy task to draw this by hand and to manage shadows with a pencil. Congratulations.
  3. Hi folks, long time since I didn't post. Here is some stuff I release some months ago. and a zoomed view :
  4. There is a novelty starting for this one. I'm now producing these deployments posters at a bigger scale. Just have a look on my website, there are also new stuff.
  5. Artwork

    NH-90

Thanks ! I think I took too much time to produce this one. It took me 3 months to draw it, mainly because the final release was not yet completed, and I add to change regularly the whole stuff. For this one, I was crazy, it can be printed up to 2m ong on a print !! => I did this one at 1/4 scale ...
  6. Artwork

    NH-90

Did I forget to mention, that I've produced the official print for the NH-90 for french Navy ? And deluxe edition Available for sale on my website.
  7. Artwork

    Space: 1999

Thanks for that drawings. I'm now back in time, when I was watching this serie on TV (but with more hairs than now !!)
  8. Strange, I'm currently drawing X-15 illustrations for a book, so I noticed immediately, that the serial number of the X-15 on the tail is in wrong way (mirrored).
  9. Long time, since I didn't visit ARC. I'm back with a new print from USS TICONDEROGA Feb.1, 1969 - Sep.18, 1969 (Vietnam War)
  10. Is it with some flight simulation software ? And what about a profile I did one year ago, done by hand/mouse ?
  11. First, Thanks everybody ! To finish the art, ie the pilot, dust and scratches and some very accurate shadows , I'm using GIMP.
  12. To change a little, here is a new profile of the SH-3D Sea king chopper. And a 1:2 scaled view to show you some details of the finished product. And to see the final result (the print itself), just visit my website http://artwork.navy.pagesperso-orange.fr
  13. By the way, you can see the evolution of my "squadrons" deployment, with one of my latest prints : USS HARRY S.TRUMAN Oct.13, 2004 - Apr.18, 2005 (Med, Persian Gulf) CVW-3 What about a 1:1 scale view of the nose of the S-3B Viking ?
  14. Just to add some comments, this work is NOT done with software making the rendering (like 3D Max or so), but using classical vectorial drawing. The visual lightning effects are "made by hand", or I should say by mouse. And thanks for your support !
  15. Nice for a first shot ! What I could say, is to have at least 2 layers for shadow and 2 layers for light. The idea is to have an ambient light, and crude light (like sun rays on cockpit). Same idea for shadows. The most difficult, is to give sensation of 3D with light+shadow, and ensure you have decided from where the light is coming => this gives you the angle of the shadow (below wings) and light. Another point, is to kind of emboss the meshes, and add some dust effect. These were my few cents of contribution.
