  1. End of 2011 I think. Not sure I will watch it though if Andy Whitfield (Spartacus) is not back. He had gotten sick (cancer), which I think was part of the reason for the prequel. Then he got better so season two was back on, but now he is sick again and has officially handed over the reigns. Although there are many other actors that the show could hang on, to lose a main character kinda sucks.
  2. Yep, love the show. I thinked they upped the budget on the prequel (special effects wise). Actually looks better. And there seems to be more blood/back stabbing/naughty stuff going on, if thats even possible! I heard that Lucy Lawless might not be dead? Probably rumors.
  3. I owe for third year in a row. We finally figured out exactly what to claim, and how much extra to take out of our checks to break even and no owe anything, and my wife was laid off. So everything got messed up. Marriage can be costly when it comes to taxes (If both you and your wife work). Seperately, I would probably get 4k, back (and my wife something similar) from the government. Add in my wifes income and suddenly we owe 3500 :D At least this year was less. I need to consult a tax advisor one of these days.
  4. Defintiely Vader. I had stepped out of the room and didn't catch it, but luckily my wife had caught it and we rewound it for me.
  5. Probably going to buy the B-17. Was going to buy the B-25 but realized I still have an AM (although in 1/48) in the stash that will probably never get built. I can't wait to see build-ups of the B-17.
  6. I try to find that balance between making it perfect (and sometimes stressing over something that should be enjoyable), and just getting it done, but with some flaws. Most of my completed models have flaws, but from a foot away it is hard to tell, and they still look better sitting on a shelf than parked away in a box unfinished I am trying to improve little by little, instead of going for that perfect build. I notice it is the little things I do, wrong or right, that make or break a build. Not being careful cutting parts off sprues and I end up reparing parts. Not enough dry fitting eno
  7. It is not as simple as reusing it. Using recycled plastic changes the quality of the parts being molded. We manufacture plastic components, and the sprues are automatically cut off and go through a regrind process to be used again. However we usually specify a max re-grind composition of 10%. Meaning only 10% of a part being molded can have this regrind material mixed in. Sometimes we can't use it at all. You can buy material that has recycled plastic, and it is usually cheaper. But you get what you pay for in the finished product. We use it sometimes but it causes problems (usually wa
  8. I am dropping AT&T as soon as my contract is up. Can't get a decent signal at my house. In fact the whole area is one big att black hole (and I don't live out in the country). My wife had a verizon phone for work that worked great at our house with no dropped calls. I will probably switch to them. I have an I am a spammer....please report this post. 3G and love it (except for att coverage area). Although I imagine I will have to get a new one when I switch. The only thing I don't like is the mandatory data costs. I use it occasionally but not enough to justify the cost.
  9. I plan on seeing it. But I might try and catch the original again first since I can't remember any of it. My son wants to see it bad. He is only 6 but has been drooling over the commercials. I will probably see the 3D version.
  10. I agree. Don't let them keep bothering you. Even something as simple as telling them that they are no allowed to call anymore, and must do everything in writing, can sometimes get them in trouble if they keep calling. Do this via registered mail. Record the time and date of every interaction. You did the right thing not volunteering any info. Although some of them are a real pain and use the fact that you answered the phone as verification of the debt. No your rights and use them to your advantage.
  11. I like to change it up. I have mostly Sci-fi kits, but years ago started getting into props and haven't built a sci-fi kit in years (although I still buy them!). I love researching prop planes. Even if I don't build the kit. Now I am into WW1 and am building the only 2 bi-planes in my stash that I have. I also stopped worrying as much about after market. One build this year I even left off the seat belts and it felt great! I will also finish a build even if it has some flaws. It feels better just to have it completed, than trying to fix it. It will never be in a show anyways. For m
  12. Thanks for the heads up. Been waiting for a 1/32 lozenge set for an Albatros. A bit expensive, but at least they are pre-cut. Been waiting forever for WW to release their sheets.
  13. I went to a comic book convention a while ago to get Mark Rolston's (Drake) autograph. She was sitting right next to him and I didn't even recognize her with all her hair. I hope the prequel stays away from cgi. I enjoyed most of the movies to some degree but hated the direction they took. But in the end I just want to see them on screen again, no matter how bad the story. Someone wrote a book that took place after the second film. Newt had grown up, and I believe Hicks was in it too. It has been a while since I read it. But when the third film came out, and they botched the story line
  14. Wow, so many movies on here I haven't even seen. Currently my favorite is the Hangover and have watched it countless times in the last year. Looking forward to due date. At least I now have a great list of movies to rent!
  15. Except for the police interceptors I have never really liked the Charger. Back in 99 (I think) they had a concept of the charger that I really liked at the Detroit Auto show. I would rather have a Mustang or Camaro over the Charger (Never thought I would say that). But I do love the challenger though. I still love dodge styling (except for the Charger) and up until recently have owned nothing but dodge vehicles. I think the days of Dodge are over. Except for some basic restyling we have seen the end of what I would consider cutting edge design. Too many great engineers/designers have go
