  1. Hey Anthony I am still there. Still looks great.....as usually. How many hours overall did you spend on this modell till now? Any idea? Best regards
  2. thx guys, enough of compliments ;) the exterior could have been much better I think. For the next one :-) @ scout: ich weiß aber der kelr im hintergrund ist auch nciht schlecht...oder? da ist halt ein spiegel in der vitrine, dann sieht man auch die andere seite der huex @ anthony: mail received, thx sir
  3. Hey guys, not you think I was giving up on my Huey, no way... But thx for still being with me and my Anneliese :-)))))) But time available is the point...but who am I telling? I did some little biut more on the rotor system but this is not done yet. I also started on the scenery. It wil be a "scramble" scene once done. crew following. Because I already was lucky to have this nice virtine I had to live with the space given inside it. So the relation between rotordisc and green strip is kind of close concerning obstacle clearance etc. But I am still thinking about setting up
  4. congrats, outstanding looking model.
  5. Hi I did some little scratchbuilding over the easternholidays on the rotor. But it isn´t the final show of the parts. The actuators, the scissors. The swashplate has to be done completely new and bigger the next days
  6. thx, nice to read you like it. But I have to admid I´could have been taken more care on the gaps, filling nd sanding. that isn´t quite in relation to the interior...
  7. Hey guys, thx a lot. I installed the hoist and the backpack today as well as doing some stuff on the blades. The kit had the old metal blades so I had to reshape the tip as on the GFK blades today hope u still like it...
  8. Believe it or not, I managed to get some paint on that bird :-) I had some work covering the glass surfaces with colorstop, especkially the pilot doors windows. the clear parts are to retracted from the outside and have a bad fit. I think I´ll have to scratch some windows and replace them. Bad OOB-parts. The color-scheme looks a little dark on the pics but actually the german hueys are quite dark painted. the two greens don´t differ too much from each other. I used a mixture of tamiyas colors 90%xf-1 and 10% german grey xf-63 for the blackgrey parts an as a base color. xf-13 nato gr
  9. oops, I just realised that the upper cable cutter is bend to the side... good luck its PE so I can fix it easily..... sorry for posting such a mishap
  10. Yes I know: proceeding slow, slower, Kutscha.... But proceeding :-) I joined the fuselage halfes and aded some (little) details not contained in the Dragon´s kit: -The Winchman Radio Antenna beneath the belly on the RH side below the sliding doors -the ADF homer -the windshield wipers upper stop -the WPS bars on the front edges (also used as handles to clmb on the roof) - the roof mounting of the rotor brake showing up on the top behind the air vents - the sliding door stops at the aft parsof the fuselage
  11. Hmpf, damn. Then I mixed it up with the FSM one... THX Rob
  12. Hey guys an moinsens Robert. Yes, the 3 headlights are correct. Or are they only 3 in a NDV version? Hm, if you got me there? I am súcceding in very small steps due to a incredible lack of time. I managed to join the fusaelage halfes (wow) and started trying to detail the poor dragon kits rotorhead. I used evrgreens and archer rivets. The little bit I managed to proceed is as follows... Hope you all stay with my slowmo....
  13. Never seen so much functional details in this scale! Congrats
  14. Nothing more to say to the genius down under RESPECT!
