Hi Gang... Looking for the long OOP (1988) USA Models O-1 Birdog 1/48 model. I have a task from the US Navy Cold War Gallery to build this subject and the USA Models kit it the only game on the street. Anybody out there that has a kit or two??? I agree with the mixed up intake prognosis. I am building this kit right now also and just did the intakes...they fit beautifully! Looking at your closeup pic, and comparing it to my pieces, it appears you have the incorrect halves matched up. Bad luck ol' chap... The rest of the affair seems to be clipping along nicely though. I'm not sure how I will finish mine...it is a contract build for SECNAV and he has not determined if he wants to do VT-9 or the Pax River scheme....
