Unfortunatly not yet. Lack of time is the main cause. Modelling is for me something for the autumn or winter time.

Hi all In my Esci kit for the TU-22M/TU-26 Backfire, part 33C, triangular part for supporting the front landinggear leg is missing from the kit. Several emails to the producer have been unanswered, and the shopowner said the importer told him the kit was not produced anymore. Can somebody please, please help me with that part? Thanks very much Peter

Hello, Having found an old Hasegawa box for the Aichi Jake floatplane on the attic, wich i'm going to build o course, i was wondering if this plane was solely build as a floatplane, or was the Jake also build as a regular land based plane (with landing gear). I've been searching the net, but did not find any pictures sofar. Best regards Peter

Parts for Dragon Heinkel He219A-0
Peter74 posted a topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
Hi all I'm looking for parts for my 1/72 model of the Dragon Heinkel He219A-0 Uhu The parts i'm looking for are the C2 and C3 (2 of each). They are the masts for the forward radar aerials Mine have been lost during our move to our new home (kit wasn't finished so only the masts were lost and not the metal aerials) I've tried to obtain them from Dragon , but after six months no reply to both of my e-mails. Thanks allready for any help you can give me. Best regards from a sunny Belgium Peter -
Hi all, In my recently purchased ESCI TU-22M/TU-26 Backfire-B (box 9070) two pieces are missing. First of all part 30C (front landinggear leg) and part 1G (main canopy) I did send an email to the verdor but he insist that the box was complete when he shipped it. Does anyone can suplly me those parts or where can i obtain these, as i have been told that Esci doesn't exist. I know....i should have bought the new Trumpeter kit, but i did not know it existed at the moment of buying the Esci one. Best regards

Hi all I've recently found a series of pictures of the Japanese Shinmeiwa US-2 in what seems to be, very dark and light grey colour scheme. What are these colours (FS or even Humbrol ModelMaster a.s.o. paint numbers) And does someone has the drawings of how the colour deviation lines are (upper-lower, wings etc.) and the position of the markings. Thanks for any help Best reagards

Hi, I have the Bandai 1/72 kit (not completly build yet) but it sure captures the look of the real plane, including the nose. My kit however, purchased many years ago, has the liveries for for a Japanese military plane white top, lt. grey lower, and a semi-military plane coded JA8780 white top, lt-grey lower with broad dk. blue fuselage band and tail. Nice versieon tough. Peter

Most Belgian Harvards were bare-metall with yellow training bands over the wings and fuselage. If you can't find anything, i'll scan the pages of the old IPMS Belgium article to you. Sorry, not on this forum as it is copyright. Peter

Hi, the link above is wrong. Please remove the "is" after .jpg. Otherwise, a nice photo of one of the most elegant jet fighters even. Best regards Peter

Hi all, By looking to my stash of "unfinished" boxes, I found an Revell-Italaerei box for the BR 20/BR 20M Cicogna Altough an old (very old??) kit it just looks a very well model, so I would like to start with it. Construction instructions seem very clear, but the painting scheme fot both versions seem a little suspect, as no paint references are given (just green, or sand a.s.o.) and nothing is said about units. Does someone can help me with correct colours and cammo patterns please? Thank you very much allready for any help given. Kind regards

Thanks for the information. But how about the Humbrol colour 164. When using it, it is much darker than the photographs suggest it should be. I've just tried a small patch with Medium sea grey, and that comes much closer if compared with the planes in the pictures.

I would like to start painting my Airfix Vulcan, however, all the references i have including the ModelDecal sheets refer as Dark Green/Dark Sea grey (Humbrol 163/164) as wrap around cammo. On the other hand, all the colour pictures i have seem to suggest (or show) the grey to be much lighter. Is the reference wrong or is the Humbrol colour to dark?
