  1. I'm looking for pics of BOL fitted to old school Hornets. Thanks, Greg
  2. A 1/144 imperial shuttle would be nice.
  3. I got to see (& hear) the AT-802 in action in Egypt last year. Never thought laser-guided 250 pound bombs would be used as a "curfew enforcement" tool.
  4. If you're interested in a white 'Hawk, paint up a MFO bird.
  5. And some fast-roping figures in 1/144 - i have a hovering, motorised CV-22 crying out for them!
  6. Ah, bugger. Glad it's accurate but I don't want to bother with my A&W kit now I know there's an IM one in the way.
  7. There was a set in 1/300 that had the PS-1 & the US-2. Also A&W have resin kits in 1/144 & 1/72.
  8. The P-3 is 1/144. Tomytec do a motors & lighting kit for it. I picked up their CV--22 and the motor kit for it - even the nacelles rotate on that one.
  9. Think I'll add the Tomytec P-3 engine & lighting kit.
  10. Apparently Aoshima is releasing an injection molded kit of the US-2 amphibian in 1/144. Anyone got any more information?
  11. How do I order these?!?
  12. Nice - will be able to build the new British Army version: http://www.dsca.mil/sites/default/files/mas/united_kingdom_15-50.pdf
  13. Do it - though this is an upgraded Australian S-70B-2.
  14. Looking forward to these. The Academy H-60 seems like so much work, though.
  15. I admit, I was sceptical at first. But, wow! That looks amazing! Very, very cool.

    XF-84H 'Thunderscreech'

Thank-you, gentlemen. Despite the name, I'm guessing there isn't much commonality between the Thunderscreech and the Thunderjet?
  17. Have only recently become aware of this aircraft (& some of its issues). I'm looking for recommendations on kits, books, & any other information on this aircraft. Thanks.
  18. Norbert, Any chance of the seated crew in 1/72? Thanks.
  19. Maybe this conversion? http://blackopsmodels.com/products/black-ops-1-35-little-bird-mh-6m-conversion-kit-for-1-35-dragon-mh-6j
  20. All good, Rex. Had no idea that A-1 were fitted with ALE-29 in any form.
  21. 'My Secret War' Richard Drury - a USAF pilot who flew Skyraiders who discusses the SUU-25. As an eye witness account, that's a primary source that details the use & rationale of the SUU-25 for IR counter measures. I'm not saying (& didn't say) that the USN ALE-29 fit didn't happen. I'm saying that we know that SUU-25 for counter measures use did occur.
  22. To my mind, this gels with the SUU-25 use for IR countermeasures by USAF A-1. Given that the threat of shoulder-launched & IR guided missiles developed quickly, the SUU-25 fits as a quick-fix. It also gels with what primary sources say.
