  1. It is available, in the US the name has been changed to "Pledge with Future Shine", I just had my Dad send me two bottles.
  2. For me not an excuse, but a realization that the stash was way too big. Plus a change in the primary scale that I build.
  3. Well, after a divorce and a move halfway around the world I finally finished a project! This is Hasegawa's 1/32 109F-2, great kit overall, I have absolutely no complaints. The only thing remaining from their previous iterations of the 109 is the wings, everything else had been upgraded and improved. The only after market items used were some pre-painted PE belts from Eduard and E-Z line for the antenna aerial and canopy restraint wire. Paints used were Gunze aqueous and Mr. Color. The reported 71/02 color scheme on an F model was too intriguing to pass up, especially with markings on this
  4. Steve, Not that this format is totally objectionable to me, just a fair share of the posts here just aren't attention grabbers for me, and after it is all about me... :D ------------------------------- Ooops....I meant to quote your post and hit the edit button. I do like your style Mike. Steve Bamford
  5. When I have a Me 262 or Me 163 question I post here, I don't think the guys in the Jets forum really care about those aircraft. I think we should have a WW2 forum rather than a "props" forum.
  6. Looks good. This aircraft was from Schlachtgeschwader 2, btw.
  7. Great work, Les! Nice to see an old warhorse coaxed into looking that good.
  8. Yes indeed, I think that would defeat the purpose of a recce bird. The R-6 denoted the wing mounted gun pods for the G series, not the F.
  9. Jim, My deepest condolences, lost my Mom back in '08, it's tough.
  10. I would give my left you know what for a '69 or '70 Mach 1! I've owned: '64 1/2 GT Coupe, 289 4 bbl/auto '66 Coupe, 289 2 bbl/auto '68 Coupe, 289 2 bbl/auto '96 GT, 4.6L, 5 Spd And I've owned a couple of cats too (gotta love those sequential turn signals): '69 Cougar XR-7, 351C, 4 bbl/auto (this thing would move) '71 Cougar XR-7, 351C, 2 bbl/auto (big, but comfy)
  11. Absolutely! Any military aircraft operating from 1935 to June 1940 is eligible.
  12. I've owned four of them and always called them 'Stangs!
  13. Awesome! What a cool job, you sir are indeed my hero!
  14. Well I didn't necessarily want another 109, but then again I wouldn't have complained too much either... :) Trumpeter's 1/32 109G-6 will be out soon though, so who who needs Tamiya though? ;) I'm happy for all the P-51 enthusiasts though, this one is long overdue and I'll have a few in my stash as well.
  15. Hey, good to see you posting. Those 1/1 'Stangs keeping you too busy for the plastic ones? :)
  16. Yes, here's a picture of him in front of his Erla production G-10.
  17. We've been added to the "Future GB" list in the GB Forum. Kick off is 1 June.
  18. Steve, Pre-War/Early War GB, 1 June - 30 Nov 2011. johnsan and myself will be the hosts. Cheers, Mike
  19. Thanks, Leo! Guess I'm not as senile as I thought!
